UserGems
UserGems turns buying signals into pipeline for outbound and account based marketing teams. It is best known for tracking when past champions and customers change jobs, and now covers more than 30 signals, including contact level intent across more than 42,000 topics, website visitors identified in the US, hiring, funding, mergers and company news, alongside product usage, call transcript signals and signals brought in from 6sense, Demandbase or Clay. Account and contact discovery fills in the buying committee at target accounts, with emails verified and phones drawn from a waterfall led by LeadMagic.
An AI agent called Gem-E runs across the product: scoring weighs more than 600 data points and shows reps which signals drove each score, a research agent answers questions from the public web with sources, and a writing agent drafts sequences, call scripts and LinkedIn messages that land in Outreach, Salesloft, Instantly or lemlist or in a Slack alert for a one click send. Workflows create Salesforce or HubSpot records, add people to sequences and sync audiences to LinkedIn, Meta and Google ads, with per field overwrite rules and volume caps, and an MCP server opens the same data and actions to Claude and ChatGPT.
Pricing is annual with unlimited users: Core costs $40,000 a year, Advanced $75,000 and Elite $150,000, plus implementation fees of $3,000 to $10,000, with a money back guarantee tied to outreach volume. UserGems is run by ShelfFlip, Inc. in San Francisco, was founded by twin brothers Christian and Stephan Kletzl, who lead it as chief executive and chief technology officer, and raised a $20 million Series A led by Craft Ventures in 2021. Customer stories come from Quickbase, Docebo, Mimecast, Sendoso, Frontify and Outreach.

Gem-E runs scoring across more than 600 ICP data points and signals, a research agent that answers questions from the public web and a writing agent that drafts sequences, call scripts and LinkedIn messages. Scoring learns from each customer's open opportunity and closed won patterns. The signal data underneath, job changes above all, is the base the agents work from and has value without them.
Workflows create or update CRM records, add people to Outreach or Salesloft sequences, assign owners and sync ad audiences on their own once launched, with a ten prospect sample run before launch and no approval step. Each CRM field is set to create, update or update only if empty, and caps limit volume per account and rep.
The writing agent previews changes on real prospects with draft and published views, undo and history, and MCP write tools require approval by default, save campaigns as drafts and cannot activate or delete anything.
No model or AI provider is named, and no AI provider appears among the subprocessors. An AI overview and AI policy are available on request through the trust center. Scoring shows reps which signals drove a score and lets admins edit the weights, and research answers cite their source pages.
Quickbase reports five times the leads, three times the pipeline and twice the closed won deals, comparing its 2025 quarterly average with the first quarter of 2026. Docebo reached 54 enterprise opportunities in a quarter, Frontify sources about 40 percent of SDR pipeline from UserGems campaigns, and Sendoso reports 44 opportunities in 20 working days. Mimecast puts influenced pipeline above $20 million over two years. A median pipeline return of 47 times and data accuracy of 97 to 98 percent against competitors are self reported, without a stated sample or period.
Prospect data rests on legitimate interest, with an outside law firm's assessment available on request. Opt outs arrive by web form or email and are honored within 24 hours, and UserGems sells enhanced information back to customers. Website visitor identification covers US traffic only and can be gated on consent. Do Not Call handling and data broker registration go unaddressed, and the contract makes customers solely responsible for the legality of their data use.
Transfers out of the EU run on standard contractual clauses with UK and Swiss terms, breach notice comes within 48 hours, and Microsoft Azure and AWS in the US are the named subprocessors, with 30 days to object to changes. Collected prospect fields include birthdays, employment history and LinkedIn connection counts, and the fuller subprocessor list is available on request through the trust center.
Sources include LinkedIn and other social networks, People Data Labs, Google searches and employer websites, and contact intent comes from unnamed providers of consented marketing cookie data covering more than 42,000 topics. Job changes combine proprietary technology, AI and human checks, holding back changes that cannot be confirmed, with an error rate under 3 percent. Refresh cycles run from daily to monthly by data type, and the legal footing for each source is not given.
LinkedIn is a named collection source for profile fields, and the product finds LinkedIn profiles for contacts that lack an email, with no account of how that data is gathered or how it fits LinkedIn's user agreement. LinkedIn also serves as an ad destination, where synced audiences match at 70 to 90 percent.
Whether customer data trains models goes unanswered. The contract licenses customer data only as needed to run the service and allows anonymized usage data for product development, while scoring learns from each customer's own closed won patterns. MCP conversations are not stored beyond a log of which tools ran, and customer data is deleted within 30 days of termination.
Messages are drafted rather than sent, passing to Outreach or Salesloft fields, to Instantly or lemlist by webhook or to a Slack alert for a one click send. The product is classed as limited risk under the EU AI Act, with no position on Article 50 disclosure or on telling recipients that AI wrote a message.
Salesforce integration creates leads, contacts and optionally accounts and reads accounts and opportunities through an integration user and eight custom fields, and HubSpot covers contacts and companies. Outreach, Salesloft and Gong Engage connect directly, Groove, Salesforce Sales Engagement and Apollo through Salesforce, and Instantly and lemlist by webhook, alongside LinkedIn, Meta and Google ad audiences, Slack, Google and Outlook calendars, Dynamics and Marketo. An enrichment API and an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT on the Advanced plan round it out.
Data is hosted on AWS or Azure in the US, and the contract bars storing customer data outside the US without written consent. Backups are geographically redundant with 24 hour recovery targets, and no EU residency option is offered.
SOC 2 Type II is held, with the report available on request through a SafeBase trust center that shows no auditor or report date. Data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS with HSTS in transit, keys sit in managed storage, and SAML single sign on comes with Elite, alongside multi factor sign in, annual third party penetration tests and CrowdStrike runtime protection. ISO 27001 is not held.
Pricing is annual with unlimited users. Core costs $40,000 for 4 million credits, enough for 40,000 data actions or 400,000 AI actions across 2,000 to 4,000 accounts. Advanced costs $75,000 for 10 million credits and up to 10,000 accounts and adds MCP, ad sync and calendar capture, and Elite costs $150,000 for 25 million credits with contact intent, visitor identification, buying stages, CRM hygiene and SSO.
Implementation adds $3,000, $5,000 or $10,000, retroactive job change leads cost $3,000 once, and Enterprise is quoted. No monthly plan or free trial is offered, and overages give 30 days to cut usage or sign a revised order.
Contracts renew automatically for the same term unless either side gives 30 days' notice, renewal increases are capped at the greater of 7 percent or inflation with 60 days' notice, and quantities cannot be cut mid term. A money back guarantee requires outreach to at least 5,000 contacts or half of orchestrated contacts and notice within five business days.
On exit, customers must remove UserGems' Salesforce and HubSpot components, customer data is deleted or returned within 30 days without a stated format, and the contract does not say whether sourced contacts may be kept.
Emails are verified to keep bounces under 5 percent, and waterfall sourced emails tend to bounce more, with no account of the verification method and no accuracy guarantee. UserGems does not send email itself.
Plans are sized by target account lists of 2,000 to more than 10,000, aimed at ABM marketers, SDRs, account executives and revenue operations at mid market and enterprise software companies. Customer stories come from Quickbase, Docebo, Mimecast, Sendoso, Frontify, Planful, UserTesting and Outreach, along with an ABM agency. Visitor identification works for US traffic only, and other geographic and language coverage is not stated.
