Claap
Claap records sales conversations and turns them into structured CRM data. A Chrome extension and a Mac desktop app capture Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls without a bot joining, a visible meeting bot is available on every plan, the mobile app records in person meetings, and Aircall, Ringover, Allo and lemlist VoIP calls import on their own. Connecting Gmail or Outlook files each email thread against the right deal, with about 12 months backfilled, and transcription covers more than 99 languages.
After each call, AI fields built from a team's own prompts write typed values (paragraph, select, date, number, rating and five more types) into standard and custom properties on Salesforce contacts, accounts and opportunities and on HubSpot contacts, companies, deals and leads, with a sync rule per field: fill only if empty, append, or always overwrite. Scorecards rate every rep on every call against MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, BANT, SPICED or a custom framework, deal and account views roll the fields into forecasts, and ClaapAgent answers questions across calls. A native MCP server with 58 tools lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other clients read and write under the user's own permissions, with no delete and no send.
Basic is free for contributors with 10 videos and 300 minutes in total. Pro costs $32 per license per month on annual billing ($40 monthly) with unlimited recordings, 1,000 transcription minutes and 500 AI credits a month, and Business costs $60 ($75) with unlimited recording time, 1,000 AI credits, CRM auto complete, coaching and Claap AI across meetings. Enterprise is quoted and adds SSO, SCIM, the REST API and migration support. Free Basic licenses sit alongside paid ones in one workspace, and teams leaving Gong, Modjo, Fathom or Clari can bring their recording history with them.
Claap joined lemlist in October 2025 and is sold under the by lemlist label with its own pricing and contracts, separate from the lemlist outreach platform. It runs on AWS in the EU, holds a SOC 2 Type II report, and customer data does not train models. Revenue teams at Qonto, Revolut, Uberall, Qogita and Surfe are among the more than 10,000 reps using it.

Everything past the recorder runs on models: transcription in more than 99 languages, AI fields that turn each call into typed CRM values, per call scorecards against a sales methodology, deal and account forecasts, ClaapAgent questions across calls, and agents built on the MCP server. Video editing and collaboration tools from the product's earlier life as an async video app remain, but the paid tiers are sold on the AI layer.
Automatic CRM enrichment is a switch on the integration. With it off, values wait on the recording page for someone to review and sync; with it on, each field follows its own rule, filling only empty properties, appending to what is there or overwriting with the latest call, so a value a rep typed can be protected for good. Follow up emails are drafted for the rep. The MCP server writes only as the signed in user, cannot delete any record and cannot send email, and pooled AI credits cap how many field runs a workspace makes each month.
Titles, summaries and chapters run on OpenAI GPT models through the enterprise API, and Gladia is a subprocessor. Each AI field carries the prompt a team wrote for it, and saved views return the reasoning behind every value. The terms bar customers from using AI output to make anyone believe it was written solely by a person. Model naming covers the summary features only, so the models behind scoring, CRM fields and ClaapAgent go unnamed.
Weglot, a SaaS company of 50 to 99 people with 24 users, reports a sales cycle that fell from four months to three, and its sales chief estimates that follow up emails and CRM automation save reps 20 to 40 percent of their week. Evaneos reports three hours saved per account manager each week and Ronspot a 26 percent higher deal value. A promised 50 percent rise in win rates within the first quarter comes with no sample or period.
The terms have the customer represent that it holds every consent needed to use the service, and no consent email, audio announcement or chat notice is offered. A visible bot is available on every plan for teams that want participants to see the recording, and Business adds admin control over recording and sharing. Which recording laws apply, and how background capture squares with all party consent rules, is left to the customer.
Customer data is handled as processor, 15 subprocessors are named, among them AWS, OpenAI, Gladia, HubSpot and Intercom, and legitimate interest, contract, legal obligation and consent are the bases where Claap is controller. Conversation data is held up to six years, an account's data is disposed of within 60 days of deletion, and a DPA is available on request. Transfers to US subprocessors rest on user consent and on the EU US Privacy Shield, a framework struck down in 2020.
Everything the product works from belongs to the customer: call and meeting recordings, synced Gmail or Outlook threads, dialer calls and the CRM records it writes to. No contact or firmographic database is added, and buyers who need phone numbers or company size are pointed to a separate data provider.
Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls are captured either by a visible meeting bot or by the Chrome extension and desktop app recording in the background, and dialer calls arrive through official Aircall, Ringover, Allo and lemlist VoIP integrations. CRM writes run through the Salesforce and HubSpot integrations. How background capture fits each meeting platform's own recording rules is not addressed.
Customer data does not train models, and OpenAI, which generates summaries through its API, keeps inputs up to 30 days for abuse monitoring before deleting them. Deleting a recording removes its transcript and generated summaries, conversation data is kept up to six years, and an account's data is disposed of within 60 days of closure. That commitment is framed around OpenAI and the summary features, and the terms keep a right to use aggregated, anonymized customer data for internal purposes.
Bot free recording leads the pitch: the extension and desktop app record in the background so the prospect sees only the rep, and it is offered for calls where a buyer will not accept a bot. A visible bot remains available, but no consent message or participant notice is offered and there is no position on Article 50 of the EU AI Act. The terms do bar customers from passing AI output off as written solely by a person.
Salesforce and HubSpot are native, with typed values written into standard and custom properties on Salesforce contacts, accounts and opportunities and HubSpot contacts, companies, deals, leads, meetings and calls, each under its own sync rule. Attio, Pipedrive, Gong, Slack, Notion, Linear and dialers from Aircall to lemlist VoIP connect as well, and Zapier, Make, n8n and webhooks come with Business. The MCP server exposes 58 tools with a public reference and pages to 100 results a call, and a REST API comes with Enterprise. Deal updates through MCP work with HubSpot only.
The service runs on AWS, and all data Claap controls is stored in an AWS EU region. Subprocessors may handle data in the EU or the US depending on the service, and there is no customer choice of region, dedicated tenancy or on premise option.
A SOC 2 Type II report and 39 monitored controls sit in a trust center run on Bastion, covering access reviews, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning and capacity management. The audit period is not shown, access to the report runs through the trust center, and SSO with Okta and SCIM provisioning are Enterprise features.
Basic is free with 10 videos and 300 minutes in total. Pro costs $32 per license per month billed annually or $40 monthly, and Business $60 or $75, with AI credits pooled per workspace at 500 and 1,000 per license and a feature table covering every plan. Enterprise is quoted. Free Basic licenses mix with paid ones, and a license freed by a deactivated member can go to someone else. Extra AI credits carry no stated price.
Paid plans can download videos, and MCP and the Enterprise API read transcripts, summaries and CRM views. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled five days before renewal, price increases take effect at renewal with 30 days' notice, and data is disposed of within 60 days of account deletion. The terms let Claap delete customer data on termination with no set export window, and prepaid fees come back only after a breach on Claap's side.
Follow up emails are drafted from each call for the rep to send, and the MCP server cannot send email at all. With no sending of its own, the product has no volume limits or reputation controls to speak of.
Built for revenue teams from startups to enterprises, with roles mapped for sales leaders, reps, RevOps and customer success, and more than 10,000 reps on it. Coverage outside Europe is not given.
