Zoom Revenue Accelerator

Zoom Revenue Accelerator is Zoom's conversation intelligence product for sales and other customer facing teams, sold separately from Zoom Workplace. It records and analyzes meetings on Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet as well as Zoom Phone calls and in person sessions, alongside email, SMS and CRM activity, and turns them into briefs, next steps, topics and AI indicators. AI Scorecards and AI Playbooks measure calls against a team's methodology, and a coaching hub, smart playlists and a coaching activity tracker help managers coach without listening to every call.

Premium adds Ask ZRA for plain language questions across conversations, Sales Roleplay for practice before live deals, and Sales Assist, which surfaces next best actions and objection handling during the call. Elite adds Engage, which runs multi step sequences across email, phone and tasks from a prioritized daily list, and Forecast, a commit view from rep to CRO grounded in deal signals. Deal dashboards, win and loss tracking and AI deal updates write outcomes back to Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or HubSpot, and Gainsight, Outreach, Slack and an API and MCP server round out the connections.

Essentials costs $65.83 per user per month and Premium $99.99, both billed annually, and Elite is quoted. Premium and Elite include 1,500 pooled AI credits per user each month, while Essentials buys credits separately. Barracuda reports 15 percent more deals closed and a 76 percent cut in documentation time, and Ritholtz Wealth saves more than 15 minutes per meeting.

The product runs on Zoom's federated AI approach, which combines Zoom's own models with OpenAI and Anthropic, and Zoom does not use meeting audio, video, chat or other communications content to train its own or third party models.

AI Capability
AI CentralityAI CentralityWhether AI is the product or a feature veneer. The removal test: peel the AI label off, and does anything sellable remain?
BB on AI CentralityAI carries a core workflow, with real product surface that is not AI. The vendor is specific about which parts are model driven.
Vendor Published

Briefs, next steps, AI Scorecards, AI Playbooks, Ask ZRA, Sales Roleplay and live Sales Assist all depend on models, and each is named as an AI feature. Around them sit conventional parts that would keep working without AI: recording storage, deal dashboards, Engage sequences and the Forecast commit view.

Autonomy and Oversight ModelAutonomy and Oversight ModelWhat the system does without a human. Draft for review, auto send, or fully agentic, and what contains a bad run.
BB on Autonomy and Oversight ModelThe human in the loop posture is described substantively (draft versus auto send, approval flows) but the failure containment story is incomplete.
Vendor Published

Sales Assist suggests moves during a call, follow up emails arrive as drafts, and Engage gives reps pre filled emails and click to dial tasks to work through themselves. AI deal updates and AI Playbooks write outcomes and fields to the CRM automatically. Whether those CRM writes can be reviewed first, and how a wrong one is reversed, goes unaddressed.

AI Disclosure and Model TransparencyAI Disclosure and Model TransparencyWhat models power the product, whether AI generated outreach discloses itself, and whether scoring and routing logic is explainable.
BB on AI Disclosure and Model TransparencyMeaningful disclosure of the model stack or the disclosure posture, with one real gap, commonly silence on whether AI authored outreach identifies itself.
Vendor Published

A federated approach combines Zoom's own large language models with OpenAI and Anthropic, and Zoom's own models are trained on public domain and Zoom created material. Recorded Zoom meetings show participants that recording is under way. How AI Scorecards, sentiment and deal risk indicators are calculated is not explained.

Operational and Outcome EvidenceOperational and Outcome EvidenceMeasured outcomes with a stated basis: replies, meetings, pipeline, win rates. Logos are not evidence and prestige is not measurement.
BB on Operational and Outcome EvidenceReal outcome evidence published, with named customers and numbers, but the measurement basis is incomplete: population, period, or definition unstated.
Vendor Published

Barracuda reports 15 percent more deals closed, a 76 percent cut in documentation time and a 5 percent rise in lead to opportunity conversion within 90 days. Ritholtz Wealth halved advisors' manual tasks and saves more than 15 minutes per meeting. Apart from the 90 day window, the baseline and measurement period behind these figures are not given.

Compliance and Risk
Outreach Compliance PostureOutreach Compliance PostureHow the product handles regulated outreach: consent, DNC scrubbing, opt out mechanics, caller ID conduct, and the public enforcement record.
BB on Outreach Compliance PostureSubstantive compliance features documented in product, but material questions (litigation history, caller ID practices, where responsibility transfers to the customer) go unaddressed.
Vendor Published

Recording consent rides on the Zoom platform, which shows recording notices to participants and lets admins add consent disclaimers on Zoom meetings and calls. Engage sends multi step email and phone sequences on Elite, and opt out handling, calling rules and anti spam obligations for that outreach are not addressed.

Data Privacy PostureData Privacy PostureGDPR and CCPA posture: lawful basis, data subject rights handling, DPA availability, subprocessor disclosure.
BB on Data Privacy PostureA real privacy program is visible (DPA available, policy substantive) with a gap on the hard question, commonly lawful basis for enriched or tracked individuals.
Vendor Published

Customer content is processed under a global DPA with the 2021 standard contractual clauses, backed by privacy data sheets and a subprocessor list with countries and transfer mechanisms. Employees cannot access meeting or AI generated content without the account owner's authorization. A privacy data sheet specific to ZRA, and the lawful basis for analyzing outside participants, are not set out.

Data Licensing and ProvenanceData Licensing and ProvenanceWhere the data comes from and on what legal footing: licensed, contributed, public record, or scraped, and who stands behind the answer.
BB on Data Licensing and ProvenanceProvenance is substantively described but incompletely: sourcing classes named without the legal footing, or indemnification unstated.
Vendor Published

ZRA analyzes the customer's own meetings, calls, email, SMS and CRM records, and adds no outside contact data. Zoom reviews whether the public domain and licensed data used to train its own models was lawfully obtained. Third party model training data is left to OpenAI and Anthropic to describe.

Platform Terms ExposurePlatform Terms ExposureWhether the product operates inside the terms of the platforms it touches, and the restriction risk a buyer inherits when it does not.
BB on Platform Terms ExposureThe method is described and mostly conformant, with one real ambiguity the vendor does not resolve, or conformance asserted without the partnership evidence that would settle it.
Vendor Published

Zoom Meetings and Zoom Phone are Zoom's own platforms, and Teams, Google Meet, calendar, email and CRM data connect through their supported integrations. How Teams and Meet recordings are captured, and under which platform terms, goes unaddressed.

AI Safety and Data StewardshipAI Safety and Data StewardshipThe cross client boundary: whether customer data trains models that serve competitors, plus retention and deletion posture.
AA on AI Safety and Data StewardshipThe cross client boundary is answered in writing: whether customer data trains shared models, with opt out or contractual exclusion documented, plus retention and deletion specifics.
Vendor Published

Customer audio, video, chat, screen sharing, attachments and other communications content never train Zoom's or third party models, and outside model providers operate under zero data retention apart from trust and safety exceptions. A zero data retention option also covers the temporary transcripts used for meeting summaries. Stored content follows the customer's retention settings.

Recipient Disclosure and AuthenticityRecipient Disclosure and AuthenticityHow the product presents itself to the people it targets: whether automated outreach and AI agents disclose themselves, whether sender personas are real, and whether personalization is grounded in verifiable fact. Measured as known compliance with Article 50 of the EU AI Act, in force since August 2, 2026, which requires AI systems that interact with individuals to disclose that fact.
BB on Recipient Disclosure and AuthenticityDisclosure is available and documented but not the default, or the persona and personalization posture is substantively addressed with one real gap, commonly silence on the Article 50 obligations that took effect in August 2026.
Vendor Published

Participants in recorded Zoom meetings see that recording is on, and admins can require a consent disclaimer. Engage emails pre filled by AI go out under the rep's name with no marker that AI drafted them. Zoom takes no position on Article 50 of the EU AI Act for ZRA.

Integration and Deployment
Ecosystem and Integration DepthEcosystem and Integration DepthDocumented depth of CRM and stack integration: objects, sync direction, API surface, marketplace presence that matches the claims.
BB on Ecosystem and Integration DepthSolid primary CRM integration documented, with depth unstated at the edges (sync direction, custom objects, failure behavior).
Vendor Published

Bidirectional CRM sync covers Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and HubSpot on every tier, alongside Gainsight, Outreach, Slack, Zoom Canvas, calendars, email and SMS. API and MCP support are included on all plans, and the Zoom Marketplace hosts the integrations. Which CRM objects and fields the AI deal updates write is not spelled out.

Deployment Model and Data ResidencyDeployment Model and Data ResidencyWhere the product runs and where customer data lives, including residency options for EU buyers.
BB on Deployment Model and Data ResidencyThe deployment model is clear and residency options are partially specified.
Vendor Published

Regional data centers keep data within a region, and EU data residency is offered to Enterprise and Education customers across Meetings, Phone, Chat and Contact Center. Whether ZRA analysis and storage stay inside the chosen region is not stated.

Security Certifications and Trust CenterSecurity Certifications and Trust CenterVerifiable security posture: enumerated current certifications and a trust center an outsider can actually read.
BB on Security Certifications and Trust CenterCertifications named and plausible with a gap: no trust center, stale dates, or asserted without enumeration.
Vendor Published

A trust center offers a SOC 2 Type 2 report and bridge letter, a SOC 2 plus HITRUST report for healthcare, ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications and a prefilled SIG questionnaire. ZRA is not named in the scope of these reports.

Commercial and Operational
Commercial TransparencyCommercial TransparencyWhether a buyer can budget without a sales call. Published pricing graded on completeness, not on the price itself.
BB on Commercial TransparencyPartial pricing published (entry tiers real, enterprise opaque) or pricing published with load bearing exclusions.
Vendor Published

Essentials costs $65.83 per user per month and Premium $99.99, both billed annually, with features laid out tier by tier and 1,500 pooled AI credits per user on Premium. Elite, which adds Engage and Forecast, is quoted, and extra AI credits on Essentials carry no stated price.

Exit and Data PortabilityExit and Data PortabilityWhat happens when a customer leaves: completeness of data export, rights to enriched or licensed data after termination, deletion commitments, and auto renewal mechanics, graded from published terms and documentation.
CC on Exit and Data PortabilityExport exists as a feature claim while the terms that govern exit, data rights after termination, deletion, and auto renewal mechanics, are not published anywhere a buyer can read.
Vendor Published

The API and MCP server can read ZRA data out, and Zoom cloud recordings can be downloaded. A bulk export of scorecards, deal records and analysis, and what happens to ZRA data after a subscription ends, go unaddressed.

Deliverability and Sending DisciplineDeliverability and Sending DisciplineThe operational craft of sending: warmup, rotation, volume governance, spam rate monitoring, and what happens when reputation degrades.
CC on Deliverability and Sending DisciplineDeliverability is invoked as a benefit with no documented mechanism. For senders this is the axis where marketing most outruns evidence.
Vendor Published

Engage on Elite runs multi step email sequences alongside calls and tasks. Mailbox limits, warmup, bounce handling and reputation monitoring for those sequences go unaddressed.

Segment and Market CoverageSegment and Market CoverageWho the product actually serves, evidenced: segments, geographies, languages, and customers that match the claim.
BB on Segment and Market CoverageSegment focus is clear and evidenced with a gap in geographic or language specifics.
Vendor Published

ZRA is built for sales teams first and also serves customer success, account management and support, from small teams to large enterprises. Barracuda in cybersecurity and Ritholtz Wealth in wealth management are among the named customers. Language coverage for analysis is not given.
