Read AI
Read AI joins Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet calls, records and transcribes them, and turns each meeting into a report with a summary, topics, action items, key questions and a full speaker by speaker transcript. Reports add engagement and sentiment readings for the room, and a personal meeting coach tracks talking speed, filler words, bias and charisma. Users can also upload recordings, follow a live dashboard during the call, and search across meetings, email and messages with a Search Copilot that offers Anthropic Claude and OpenAI GPT models directly.
Ada, Read AI's digital twin, extends the product past the meeting. It schedules next steps, sends invites, coordinates calendars with prospects, chases follow ups and suggests and applies CRM updates drawn from meetings, email and messages. Pro plans connect Salesforce, HubSpot, Notion, Jira, Confluence, Zapier and webhooks, and a Chrome plugin brings meeting context into Gmail and Google Calendar.
Read announces itself at the start of every meeting and needs the host's approval to join. Any participant can opt out, which deletes that meeting's data at once. Contributing data to model improvement is off unless a user turns it on.
The free plan covers five transcribed meetings a month with unlimited search and needs no card. Pro costs $15 per user per month on annual billing or $19.75 monthly, with unlimited transcripts and 100 file upload credits, Enterprise $22.50 or $29.75 with team controls over sharing and which meetings Read joins, and Enterprise+ $29.75 or $39.75 with HIPAA support. A Workspace needs a paid license for each person in it. Reports work in more than 20 languages, and Read AI says millions of people use it across companies, universities and platforms.

Transcription, summaries, sentiment and engagement scoring, the meeting coach, Search Copilot and the Ada digital twin all depend on models. Strip them out and only a recording player would remain. Ada pushes the AI past meetings into scheduling, follow up and CRM upkeep.
The meeting assistant needs host approval before it joins, and Enterprise admins decide which meetings Read may attend and how reports are shared. Ada acts with more independence, scheduling next steps, sending invites, coordinating with prospects and applying CRM updates. Whether those actions wait for the user's approval, and how a wrong update is reversed, are not described.
Search Copilot gives direct access to Anthropic Claude and OpenAI GPT models, and Read announces itself to everyone when it joins a meeting. The models behind summaries, sentiment and coaching scores are not named, and how a prospect learns that Ada, rather than the user, is arranging a meeting is not described.
Read AI cites millions of users at companies, universities and platforms and a mention in Fortune. Time saved, meetings shortened and follow ups completed go unmeasured, and no customer result comes with a population or period.
Recording consent is handled inside the product: an announcement at the start of every meeting, host approval before joining, and an opt out any participant can use, which deletes that meeting's data immediately. These controls are not tied to named recording laws such as the all party consent statutes in California or Illinois, so judging whether they satisfy a given jurisdiction falls to the customer.
For eligible Workspace customers in the EU and EEA, Read acts as processor under Article 28 of the GDPR and offers a DPA, relying on the EU US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses for transfers. Data subject requests are answered within legal deadlines. Report owners control sharing with participants. The subprocessor list and the lawful basis for participants who never sign up are not set out.
Everything Read works from is the user's own: meeting audio and video, uploaded recordings, and the email, calendar and messages a user connects. Read sells no outside data. Model training uses this material only for users who opt in.
The Read Assistant enters Zoom, Teams and Meet as a visible participant with host approval, and Salesforce, HubSpot, Jira, Notion and Confluence connect through their own integration routes. A Chrome plugin works inside Gmail and Google Calendar. How Ada's email coordination with prospects runs through the user's mailbox is not spelled out.
Contributing data to model improvement is off by default and changes only when a user opts in, and that choice can be reversed at any time. A participant who opts out has that meeting's data deleted immediately and permanently. Report owners delete reports themselves, and deleting an account removes its reports unless a Workspace retains them.
Meeting participants hear Read announce itself at the start and can remove their data at any point. Ada is named as a digital twin and works by email with prospects, and whether those messages tell the recipient they come from an AI is not stated. Read takes no position on Article 50 of the EU AI Act.
Pro adds Salesforce, HubSpot, Notion, Jira, Confluence and Zapier, plus webhooks, and Slack and the Gmail plugin connect as well. Search pulls meetings, email and messages into one index. Which CRM fields Read writes to and how sync conflicts resolve are not spelled out.
Read AI runs as hosted software with transfers from Europe covered by the Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Hosting regions, the cloud provider and any EU storage option are not named.
An outside auditor reviews Read AI against SOC 2 Type II every year, covering access management, encryption, monitoring and incident response. HIPAA technical safeguards are in place, with a business associate agreement on request for Enterprise+. Every meeting is encrypted with role based access. Report access terms and audit dates are not shown.
Free covers five transcribed meetings a month. Pro costs $15 per user per month annually or $19.75 monthly, Enterprise $22.50 or $29.75, and Enterprise+ $29.75 or $39.75 with HIPAA support. Meeting limits, integrations and admin controls are set out by plan, so a team can price its purchase without a call.
Users can delete reports and accounts themselves, and deletion takes effect at once, with Workspace owned reports retained by the Workspace. A bulk export of reports and transcripts, renewal terms and post termination handling are not set out.
Ada sends invites, follow ups and scheduling messages to prospects for the user. Volume limits, sender identity and reputation controls for that email are not described.
Read serves individuals on a free plan through enterprise teams, with HIPAA support for healthcare and human services. Reports come in more than 20 languages, including Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Japanese and most Western European languages, and apps run on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. Workspaces need a paid seat for every member. The split between sales teams and other meeting users is not given.
