LeadPilot vs Säljmotorn (2026)

Last VerifiedAugust 24, 2026
Verdict

The decision is whether the harder problem is the record or the path. LeadPilot has built for the record: contact details are held temporarily, a reply of any kind deletes the stored record and permanently blocks that sender from contacting the person again, a public opt out page sits in the footer of every page, and a permanent exclusion from every customer's future searching is available on request. Its privacy policy carries a section written in the second person to the people in the database rather than to the paying customer, which almost nothing in this index does. Säljmotorn has built for the path. It registers the domain, configures and verifies sender authentication automatically, licenses the mailbox through a named distributor, delivers it warmed, and verifies every recipient address through a named supplier before it enters the send queue, answering the question of how a customer sends more by saying you add inboxes rather than push one harder. Both are register based Nordic products for Nordic buyers. One protects the person on the other end. The other protects whether the message arrives at all.

Select LeadPilot if
  • You want the deletion to fire without the recipient asking. A reply of any kind, regardless of content, deletes the stored record and prevents future contact from that customer, which is a stronger instrument than an unsubscribe link because it does not require the recipient to find and use the right words.
  • The purchase has to be budgetable in both commitment shapes. Four tiers publish two euro figures side by side for the two billing shapes, with the lead allowance that actually governs value stated per tier in monthly and yearly denominations, cancellation notice at fifteen days, and a free tier requiring no card.
  • You need a volume ceiling rather than a volume promise. The lead allowance is a hard numeric cap on how many people can be contacted at all, published per tier, and active segments are capped at one on the free plan and five on every paid plan.
Select Säljmotorn if
  • You want the model provider named. Säljmotorn states which provider runs its assistant, publishes daily usage caps on it, and names the standard contractual clauses covering the transfer, which together is the most complete artificial intelligence disclosure recorded in this index.
  • The sending path should be provisioned rather than assumed. Domain registration through a named registrar, automatic authentication record configuration, mailbox licensing through a named distributor and a warmed inbox delivered ready to send, with recipient addresses verified through a named supplier before entering the queue.
  • You want the deal to finish inside the same system. The flow runs from company search through sequences and a shared inbox to needs analysis, quote and electronic signature with a complete audit log, so nothing is dropped between a prospecting tool and a quoting program.

The short version of each

LeadPilot

LeadPilot is a Nordic business to business prospecting and outreach platform built on national company registers, where a segment is defined once and the platform then searches the registers nightly for matching companies, resolves decision maker contact details, generates personalised email and sends through the operator's own connected mailbox. The GTM Tech Index grades it A on data privacy posture, the strongest of any data vendor it holds: the policy is divided by whose data is described and one section addresses the people in the database directly, enumerating the five fields held, stating the lawful basis and its purpose, committing to temporary storage, and committing that any reply deletes the record and blocks future contact automatically without a request.

Säljmotorn

Säljmotorn is a Swedish business to business sales platform carrying a deal from unknown company to signed contract inside one system, built specifically and only for the Swedish market, running from a company search over 1.7 million Swedish businesses through sequences, a shared inbox, needs analysis, quoting and electronic signature. The GTM Tech Index grades it A on deliverability discipline, the most complete sending discipline it has recorded: authentication records are configured and verified automatically per sending domain, the whole path is provisioned through named suppliers, and the vendor answers the question of how to send more by stating that a customer adds warmed inboxes rather than pushing a single one harder.

Buyer Questions

Common questions

Is LeadPilot better than Säljmotorn?

Whether the harder problem is the record or the path. LeadPilot has built for the record, holding contact details temporarily, deleting them outright on any reply, blocking that sender permanently, and publishing a public opt out page and a permanent global exclusion. Säljmotorn has built for the path, registering the domain, configuring and verifying authentication, licensing and warming the mailbox, and verifying every recipient address before it enters the send queue. One protects the person on the other end. The other protects whether the message arrives.

Which one protects deliverability?

Säljmotorn, and the GTM Tech Index grades it A on that axis, the most complete sending discipline it holds. Authentication records covering sender policy, key signing and reporting are configured and verified automatically for each sending domain, the whole path is provisioned through named suppliers, and the vendor answers the question of how a customer sends more by stating that you add warmed inboxes rather than push one harder. LeadPilot sends from the operator's own mailbox and publishes nothing on authentication, warmup, pacing, bounce handling or complaint thresholds.

Do either say what AI they run on?

Only Säljmotorn, and it is the most complete disclosure of its kind in this index. The vendor names the provider running its assistant outright on a dedicated page, states that daily usage caps apply, and names the standard contractual clauses governing the transfer, so a buyer can reason about where their input travels and under what protection before creating an account. LeadPilot names four model branded surfaces across its navigation and pricing table and discloses no model, provider, version, hosting location or processing boundary anywhere.

Which one does more for the people in the database?

LeadPilot, decisively, and the index grades it A on that axis, the strongest privacy posture of any data vendor it holds. The policy is divided by whose data is being described and one section is written in the second person to the people in the database: it enumerates the five fields held, states the lawful basis and its purpose, commits to temporary storage, and commits that any reply deletes the record and blocks future contact automatically. Säljmotorn commits a processing agreement with every customer and Swedish storage, and publishes no retention periods and no stated legal basis for the prospect data.

How much do LeadPilot and Säljmotorn cost?

Both publish real prices and the missing number differs. LeadPilot publishes four tiers with two euro figures side by side for monthly and annual billing, and crucially publishes the lead allowance per tier in both denominations, so the unit that governs value is visible, which the index grades A. Säljmotorn publishes three exact figures in kronor with no minimum commitment and monthly terms throughout, and states that every feature appears in every plan so the tiers differ only in capacity, then publishes no capacity figure anywhere.

How does the GTM Tech Index grade LeadPilot and Säljmotorn?

Both are graded on the same seventeen capability and compliance axes from public sources, and both sit at full documented depth. The GTM Tech Index grades Säljmotorn A on AI disclosure and model transparency, outreach compliance posture, platform terms exposure, deployment model and data residency, and deliverability discipline. LeadPilot takes A on data privacy posture and commercial transparency, and B on outreach compliance, data licensing, platform terms exposure, recipient disclosure and segment coverage. The index publishes no composite score and declares no winner.

Disclosure

The two vendors take opposite positions on the one sentence a prospecting vendor is most tempted to write, and the contrast is worth reading closely because both are otherwise careful companies. LeadPilot's platform page answers the question of whether cold email is permitted with an assurance that using the product means the customer complies with all laws and regulations.

No supplier can warrant that, and this vendor's own privacy policy contradicts it directly by designating the customer as controller under a signed processing agreement, which is precisely the arrangement that places the obligation on the customer rather than on the platform.

Säljmotorn's compliance page closes by stating outright that it does not guarantee that using the platform makes any customer compliant, that the customer always controls why and how their sales data is used, and that the vendor acts as processor and supplies the structure. Declining to sell compliance as a feature is the rarest thing on either record. The shared silence is where the people come from.

Both vendors build on official national company registers, which is a genuinely better provenance position than the unattributed hundreds of millions this category usually offers, and both name those registers as a class rather than individually, so a buyer cannot check which one. More consequentially, a company register is not where a sales prospect's working contact details live.

LeadPilot describes a supplement that finds decision maker details through public internet sources or through third party programming interfaces, and names no supplier for it. Säljmotorn markets embedded Swedish decision maker data, meaning named individuals in roles, and states no source for that layer at all. The register answers where the companies came from. Neither answers where the people did.
