Clevenio vs LeadPilot (2026)

Last VerifiedAugust 24, 2026
Verdict

The decision is what happens to the decision maker whose details you are buying, because both vendors are European companies selling records about named European individuals and only one of them has built a way out. Clevenio publishes something almost nobody in this category will: its contact records are matched by large language models cross referencing official business registers against public data across the web, and in Finland direct phone numbers come from telecom operator data matched to the named person. That is an unusually honest method disclosure. What sits beside it is no notification to those individuals, no self service lookup and no removal route anywhere on the site. LeadPilot holds the same kind of records and has built the other half: storage is temporary, a reply of any kind deletes the record and blocks that sender permanently, a public opt out page sits in the footer of every page, and a permanent exclusion from every customer's future searching is available on request. One vendor tells you how the person was found. The other tells the person.

Select Clevenio if
  • You want the whole market rather than a list. The proposition is a mapped market rather than a sample, built from each country's official business register and refreshed continuously so a newly registered company reaches your system of record without anyone noticing it.
  • Agent access should not be an upgrade. A protocol server is live for every customer, included in both plans rather than sold as an extra and carried as the first banner on the homepage, naming two assistant clients so a buyer can query their own mapped market from inside an AI tool, alongside a documented interface.
  • Coverage has to be stated market by market. Finland is a dedicated product drawing on the full trade register plus telecom operator data, and a European product covers the Nordics, Baltics, DACH, Benelux, Poland and the United Kingdom, each mapped from its own local register.
Select LeadPilot if
  • The purchase has to be budgetable in both commitment shapes. Four tiers publish two euro figures side by side for the two billing shapes, and the lead allowance that actually governs value is stated per tier in both monthly and yearly denominations, against a counterpart whose pricing page reads ask for pricing under a heading calling itself transparent.
  • You need a hard ceiling on how many people can be contacted at all. The lead allowance is a numeric cap published per tier rather than a fair use policy, and active segments are capped at one on the free plan and five on every paid plan.
  • You want the policy written for the person in the database. LeadPilot's privacy policy is divided by whose data is described, and one section addresses those individuals in the second person, enumerating the five fields held, stating the lawful basis and its purpose, and committing to temporary storage.

In Summary

The short version of each

Clevenio

Clevenio, trading as Sales Led Oy of Jyvaskyla, sells the whole market rather than a sample, building from each country's official business register and then using large language models to cross reference those registers against public data across the web to attach the right decision makers to the right companies, refreshed continuously. The GTM Tech Index grades it B on AI disclosure and model transparency, which no other data vendor in the index reaches: the vendor tells buyers on its own homepage that its contact records are model produced rather than researcher verified. The index records the counterweight on the same axis, that no accuracy or error rate is published for the matching, which is the one number that would let a buyer size the risk.

LeadPilot

LeadPilot is a Nordic business to business prospecting and outreach platform built on national company registers, where a segment is defined once and the platform searches the registers nightly for matching companies, resolves decision maker contact details, generates personalised email and sends through the operator's own connected mailbox. The GTM Tech Index grades it A on commercial transparency: four tiers publish two euro figures side by side for the two billing shapes, and the unit that actually governs value is published against every tier in both monthly and yearly denominations, so a buyer can budget the purchase completely and choose between commitment shapes with both numbers in front of them, with cancellation notice stated concretely at fifteen days.

Buyer Questions

Common questions

Is Clevenio better than LeadPilot?

What happens to the decision maker whose details you are buying. Clevenio publishes how those records are made, by large language models cross referencing official registers against public web data, with Finnish phone numbers from telecom operator data matched to the person, and publishes no notification, lookup or removal route for them. LeadPilot holds the same kind of records temporarily, deletes them on any reply, blocks that sender permanently, and publishes a public opt out page and a permanent global exclusion. One tells you how the person was found. The other tells the person.

Where does the data come from at each?

Both start from official national company registers, which is a materially better provenance position than the unattributed databases this category usually offers, and they diverge on the person layer. Clevenio discloses three source classes: registers for the company data, large language model matching against public web data and professional networks for the decision makers, and telecom operator data for Finnish phone numbers. LeadPilot names the Swedish and Finnish registers for companies and describes the decision maker supplement only as a search engine and third party programming interfaces, naming no supplier.

How much do Clevenio and LeadPilot cost?

LeadPilot, decisively, and the GTM Tech Index grades it A against D. LeadPilot publishes four tiers with two euro figures side by side for monthly and annual billing, the lead allowance per tier in both denominations, cancellation notice at fifteen days and a free tier requiring no card. Clevenio's pricing page carries the words transparent pricing above a headline and the words ask for pricing where the number belongs on both plans, with no tier, unit, floor, range or currency anywhere, while itemising exactly what each plan contains.

Which one is easier to connect to?

Clevenio, and it is unusually forward for a company of its size. A protocol server is live for every customer, included in both plans rather than sold as an upgrade, carried as the first banner on the homepage and naming two assistant clients, alongside a documented interface and connectors into three named systems of record. LeadPilot promises connection to a system of record on every tier including the free one and names no system anywhere on the pages read, with no programmatic access, webhook surface or developer documentation located.

Do either publish security documentation?

Neither publishes a certification, and both absences are stage appropriate rather than negligent for companies founded in 2019 and 2023. LeadPilot names controls in general terms without overclaiming, stating that appropriate measures are in place including encryption alongside access and storage policies, and that employees reviewing personal data do so under confidentiality agreements. At Clevenio no security page, trust centre, certification claim, penetration test or vulnerability disclosure route was located, and its footer legal section contains exactly three items with no security entry among them.

How does the GTM Tech Index grade Clevenio and LeadPilot?

Both are graded on the same seventeen capability and compliance axes from public sources, at documented depths of sixteen and seventeen. The GTM Tech Index grades LeadPilot A on data privacy posture and commercial transparency, and B on outreach compliance, data licensing, platform terms exposure, recipient disclosure and segment coverage. Clevenio takes B on AI centrality, AI disclosure and model transparency, data licensing, platform terms exposure, ecosystem depth and segment coverage, and carries the pair's only D, on commercial transparency. The index publishes no composite score and declares no winner.

Disclosure

Clevenio publishes the method behind its contact records and withholds the one number that would let a buyer size the risk in it. The vendor states that large language models cross reference official business registers against public data across the web to match decision makers to companies, which is a data vendor telling buyers plainly that its contact records are model produced rather than researcher verified, and almost nobody in this category makes that admission.

No accuracy or error rate for the matching is published anywhere. That figure matters more here than in most places, because those model matched records are pushed automatically into the customer's own system of record and refreshed continuously as companies and roles change, with no confidence threshold below which a match is withheld, no review step and no audit trail of what was written and on what basis.

A wrong match does not produce an obviously wrong record, it produces a plausible one, and a representative telephones the wrong person at the right company. Ask for the match accuracy rate and what happens to a record when the model changes its mind.

The same vendor's pricing page carries the eyebrow transparent pricing above its headline and the words ask for pricing where the number belongs on both plans, with no tier, seat rate, unit, floor, range or currency anywhere on it, while itemising precisely what each plan contains.

Third party reviews from mid 2026 separately record a homepage line placing list building from a hundred and ninety nine euros a month and earlier figures between forty nine and ninety nine dollars, none of which reconcile with each other or appear on the current page. LeadPilot's equivalent surface is the strongest in this sub lane: two euro figures side by side per tier for the two billing shapes, with the lead allowance published in both monthly and yearly denominations.
