Intentsify

Intentsify sells B2B intent data together with the programs that act on it. Buyer intelligence shows which accounts are researching a customer's solutions, and buying group intent goes a level deeper, showing which personas inside each account are reading about which topics and how far along that research has moved. Website visitor resolution identifies a customer's own traffic at the account, persona and contact level, delivered daily by file or through an API that answers in under a second. Audiences built from the same signals refresh weekly for ad targeting.

An identity graph sits underneath, drawing 1.1 trillion intent signals a month from nine source types across 460,000 content sites and 90,000 monitored topics, with 382 million contact records, 203 million IP addresses and 5 billion mobile advertising IDs, alongside firmographic, technographic and business event data. The acquisitions of 5x5 Data and, in January 2026, Salutary Data enlarged the contact side. Natural language processing classifies web content by topic and buying stage, scores each account's weekly research from 1 to 100 against its own history, and builds a custom intent model from a customer's product pages and PDFs. QuantumDemand, a newer offering, rolls third party intent and first party engagement from syndication, site visits, ads and email into one weighted account index that refreshes weekly.

Much of the business runs as a managed service with a dedicated project manager. Content syndication is priced per lead, with optional phone verification of authority and need or full BANT qualification by a live representative. Display, video, connected TV, audio and digital out of home advertising is priced per thousand impressions, and email nurture and event programs reach the wider buying group. Data flows into Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Convertr and Clay, out to a data lake or file export, and through an MCP server into Claude, ChatGPT and other AI tools.

Marc Laplante and Mike Kelly, who both spent years at TechTarget, founded Intentsify in 2018. The company is based in Westwood, Massachusetts, with BV Investment Partners on its board, and Forrester named it a Leader in its Q1 2025 evaluation of B2B intent data providers, ranking it first for strength of offering. Splunk, Alvaria, Goldcast, PagerDuty and Sysdig have shared results from their programs, while buying group contacts and device level targeting are available only in the US.

AI Capability
AI CentralityAI CentralityWhether AI is the product or a feature veneer. The removal test: peel the AI label off, and does anything sellable remain?
BB on AI CentralityAI carries a core workflow, with real product surface that is not AI. The vendor is specific about which parts are model driven.
Vendor Published

Natural language processing sorts web content by topic and by early or late buying stage, scores each account's weekly research against its own history, and builds a custom intent model from a customer's product pages and PDFs. The identity graph, contact records and managed media programs underneath hold value without the models, and the MCP server answers plain language questions from the same data.

Autonomy and Oversight ModelAutonomy and Oversight ModelWhat the system does without a human. Draft for review, auto send, or fully agentic, and what contains a bad run.
BB on Autonomy and Oversight ModelThe human in the loop posture is described substantively (draft versus auto send, approval flows) but the failure containment story is incomplete.
Vendor Published

Activation is run by Intentsify's own team, with a dedicated project manager per customer. The customer sets lead activation criteria, target accounts and suppression lists, leads arrive at an even weekly pace, and invalid leads can be returned within 30 days for replacement. Email programs take up to eight days of creative and list preparation before weekly sends begin, while the MCP server is built for questions about accounts and buying groups rather than for acting in customer systems.

AI Disclosure and Model TransparencyAI Disclosure and Model TransparencyWhat models power the product, whether AI generated outreach discloses itself, and whether scoring and routing logic is explainable.
CC on AI Disclosure and Model TransparencyThe product is described as AI powered with the stack, the disclosure behavior, and the scoring logic all unstated.
Vendor Published

Topic scores run from 1 to 100 and compare an account's research in the current week with its own baseline, topic stage marks research as early or late, and keyword counts confirm the topic reading. Buying group interest rolls up to high, medium or low. The AI and NLP behind it are proprietary, with no model or provider named and no word on whether AI shapes the email and ad creative buyers receive.

Operational and Outcome EvidenceOperational and Outcome EvidenceMeasured outcomes with a stated basis: replies, meetings, pipeline, win rates. Logos are not evidence and prestige is not measurement.
BB on Operational and Outcome EvidenceReal outcome evidence published, with named customers and numbers, but the measurement basis is incomplete: population, period, or definition unstated.
Vendor Published

Splunk reports eight times more MQLs year over year and three times better ROI on marketing contributed pipeline, and Alvaria a 285 percent rise in qualified leads, 95 percent of them new contacts. Goldcast and PagerDuty each reached ten times pipeline to spend, and Sysdig saw intent coverage on 92 percent of open opportunities with an 82 percent prediction rate for closed won deals. None of these results carries a period or baseline. Forrester placed Intentsify among the Leaders in its Q1 2025 evaluation of B2B intent data providers.

Compliance and Risk
Outreach Compliance PostureOutreach Compliance PostureHow the product handles regulated outreach: consent, DNC scrubbing, opt out mechanics, caller ID conduct, and the public enforcement record.
BB on Outreach Compliance PostureSubstantive compliance features documented in product, but material questions (litigation history, caller ID practices, where responsibility transfers to the customer) go unaddressed.
Vendor Published

Content syndication leads are opt in, having asked to download the customer's asset, and each passes a six step check of contact data and campaign fit before delivery. Suppression lists supplied at setup are honored, opt outs run through a web form, and browser signals such as Global Privacy Control count as requests not to sell or share.

The data is sold as compliant with GDPR, CCPA and CAN-SPAM, while the consent basis for buying group email nurture, Do Not Call handling for verification calls and data broker registration go unaddressed.

Data Privacy PostureData Privacy PostureGDPR and CCPA posture: lawful basis, data subject rights handling, DPA availability, subprocessor disclosure.
BB on Data Privacy PostureA real privacy program is visible (DPA available, policy substantive) with a gap on the hard question, commonly lawful basis for enriched or tracked individuals.
Vendor Published

Consumer privacy terms cover CCPA rights including opting out of sale and sharing, transfers from the EU and UK under standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum, and a one month response window for data subject requests. Pixel data gathered for one client stays with that client, and a general counsel doubles as data privacy officer. No lawful basis is named for EU data subjects, and the DPA and subprocessor list are not public.

Data Licensing and ProvenanceData Licensing and ProvenanceWhere the data comes from and on what legal footing: licensed, contributed, public record, or scraped, and who stands behind the answer.
BB on Data Licensing and ProvenanceProvenance is substantively described but incompletely: sourcing classes named without the legal footing, or indemnification unstated.
Vendor Published

Intent comes from nine source types, among them content consumption across 460,000 B2B sites, ad engagement, social activity, website visits and business events, pooled through a collaborative model, with cookie identifiers taken only from people who opted in. Acquiring 5x5 Data and Salutary Data added a member contributed contact set that corrects itself and more than 150 million verified B2B contact profiles.

Third parties outside Intentsify's control gather the source data, none of them named, and the campaign terms commit only to reasonable efforts that it was lawfully collected with the consents needed.

Platform Terms ExposurePlatform Terms ExposureWhether the product operates inside the terms of the platforms it touches, and the restriction risk a buyer inherits when it does not.
BB on Platform Terms ExposureThe method is described and mostly conformant, with one real ambiguity the vendor does not resolve, or conformance asserted without the partnership evidence that would settle it.
Vendor Published

Ads run through programmatic display, connected TV, audio, social and digital out of home channels, and content syndication runs through a vetted network of media companies and publishers. The contact data carries 102 million LinkedIn profile URLs and social activity counts among the intent sources, with the collection method for neither explained.

AI Safety and Data StewardshipAI Safety and Data StewardshipThe cross client boundary: whether customer data trains models that serve competitors, plus retention and deletion posture.
CC on AI Safety and Data StewardshipSecurity language exists but the training question, the one this axis turns on, is unanswered: a buyer cannot tell whether their pipeline data improves a competitor’s instance.
Vendor Published

Under the platform subscription the customer grants a perpetual, irrevocable license to use customer data for any lawful purpose at Intentsify's discretion, with personal information aggregated and deidentified for internal business use, while the campaign agreement narrows that license to providing the services. Whether customer data trains Intentsify's models goes unanswered. Its AI principles are fairness, safety, privacy, transparency and accountability.

Recipient Disclosure and AuthenticityRecipient Disclosure and AuthenticityHow the product presents itself to the people it targets: whether automated outreach and AI agents disclose themselves, whether sender personas are real, and whether personalization is grounded in verifiable fact. Measured as known compliance with Article 50 of the EU AI Act, in force since August 2, 2026, which requires AI systems that interact with individuals to disclose that fact.
CC on Recipient Disclosure and AuthenticityNothing published on whether recipients are told they are dealing with software. For a product whose AI talks to prospects, silence here is now a regulatory posture, not a style choice.
Vendor Published

Verification and BANT qualification calls are made by live representatives, and email programs go out on the customer's behalf to buying group contacts. Who appears as the sender of those emails, any AI role in writing them and any position under Article 50 of the EU AI Act are not stated.

Integration and Deployment
Ecosystem and Integration DepthEcosystem and Integration DepthDocumented depth of CRM and stack integration: objects, sync direction, API surface, marketplace presence that matches the claims.
BB on Ecosystem and Integration DepthSolid primary CRM integration documented, with depth unstated at the edges (sync direction, custom objects, failure behavior).
Vendor Published

Salesforce shows buying signals and program engagement on records, HubSpot creates and enriches records with account intent, and Marketo creates and enriches contacts and builds smart lists filtered on buying signals. Convertr, Clay through an August 2026 partnership, data lakes and CDPs through custom work and an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT complete the set, and existing third party intent subscriptions can be loaded into the platform. Visitor resolution arrives daily by file or through an API that answers in under a second, while sync direction and field mapping are unstated and there is no public API reference.

Deployment Model and Data ResidencyDeployment Model and Data ResidencyWhere the product runs and where customer data lives, including residency options for EU buyers.
CC on Deployment Model and Data ResidencyCloud hosted is the whole public answer. Region and residency questions require a sales conversation.
Vendor Published

Intentsify runs as a hosted platform, and personal data from the EU and UK is moved to and processed in other countries, including by staff and providers working outside those regions. Hosting provider, regions and any residency choice go unmentioned.

Security Certifications and Trust CenterSecurity Certifications and Trust CenterVerifiable security posture: enumerated current certifications and a trust center an outsider can actually read.
BB on Security Certifications and Trust CenterCertifications named and plausible with a gap: no trust center, stale dates, or asserted without enumeration.
Vendor Published

SOC 2 Type II is audited annually across security, availability and confidentiality. An ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate from Consilium Labs covers the infrastructure, applications and processes behind the data and activation services, with a copy available on request. A trust center runs on Drata, and Joe Procaccini leads security as chief information security officer.

Commercial and Operational
Commercial TransparencyCommercial TransparencyWhether a buyer can budget without a sales call. Published pricing graded on completeness, not on the price itself.
CC on Commercial TransparencyA pricing page exists and communicates structure without numbers, or numbers so qualified they do not budget anything.
Vendor Published

Lead generation is priced per lead and advertising per thousand impressions, both varying with the targeting a customer selects. Data access is sold as an annual subscription, audiences on monthly, quarterly or annual usage based commitments, and visitor resolution in volume tiers, and none of them carries a public price.

Exit and Data PortabilityExit and Data PortabilityWhat happens when a customer leaves: completeness of data export, rights to enriched or licensed data after termination, deletion commitments, and auto renewal mechanics, graded from published terms and documentation.
BB on Exit and Data PortabilityReal export capability documented, with a material exit question unstated in public terms, commonly post termination rights to licensed or enriched records.
Vendor Published

The platform subscription runs for a year and renews for further years unless either side gives 30 days' notice, and the license to intent data ends with the term. Campaign customers get 90 days after termination to download their data before Intentsify destroys it, with written certification on request, and must delete or return all Intentsify data, which the terms define to include contact data provided for lead generation, at Intentsify's direction. Data leaves through the app, CRM and MAP syncs, data lake delivery or file export, while the platform agreement sets no deletion timeline for customer data.

Deliverability and Sending DisciplineDeliverability and Sending DisciplineThe operational craft of sending: warmup, rotation, volume governance, spam rate monitoring, and what happens when reputation degrades.
CC on Deliverability and Sending DisciplineDeliverability is invoked as a benefit with no documented mechanism. For senders this is the axis where marketing most outruns evidence.
Vendor Published

Buying group nurture, brand and lead follow up emails go out weekly once a program is live, and lead email addresses are checked as deliverable before delivery. Sending domains, warmup, volume limits and bounce or complaint monitoring go unaddressed.

Segment and Market CoverageSegment and Market CoverageWho the product actually serves, evidenced: segments, geographies, languages, and customers that match the claim.
BB on Segment and Market CoverageSegment focus is clear and evidenced with a gap in geographic or language specifics.
Vendor Published

Programs serve marketing, sales and agency teams at B2B companies from fast growing firms to the Fortune 1000, with Splunk, Alvaria, Goldcast, PagerDuty and Sysdig among the customers. Intent data covers North America, EMEA, APAC and Latin America, while buying group contacts and device level targeting are limited to the US, and the languages supported are left open.
