RocketReach
RocketReach is a contact database for finding the email addresses and phone numbers of business professionals. It holds more than 700 million professional profiles and 60 million companies, searchable by title, employer, department, skills, technologies in use, recent job changes, location, company size and revenue. Each lookup predicts and checks the email address at the moment of the request, and Chrome and Edge extensions return contact details while a user browses a company site or a profile.
Lighter engagement tools sit around the database. Messages sends email from inside RocketReach with templates, an AI writer and simple sequences of follow ups and tasks, up to 500 emails a day. Autopilot saves a search that refreshes daily, weekly or monthly and feeds new matches into those sequences, then reports sent, clicked, replied and bounced counts. The top plan adds account level intent data and a healthcare dataset of more than 6.3 million contacts searchable by NPI number.
Annual plans include unlimited lookups under a fair use ceiling of 10,000 a month. List prices vary from visitor to visitor rather than following one fixed price list, while the plan structure stays the same. One set of prices shown to buyers puts Essentials at $399 a year for email data and 1,200 exports, Pro + Phone at $899 with mobile and direct numbers, technographics, news, org charts and CRM integrations and 3,600 exports, and Ultimate + Phone at $1,699 with 20,000 exports, intent and healthcare data, Salesforce custom mapping, suppression lists and single sign on. Monthly billing in that set runs $69, $119 and $209 with fixed lookup allowances, and custom API packages start at $6,000.
Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Bullhorn and Zapier connect from Pro upward. A REST API covers people, companies, email finding, phone finding and NPI lookups, and an MCP server gives ChatGPT, Claude and other assistants nine tools for searching and enriching contacts on the account's own credits.
Records come from licensed datasets, data brokers, public web pages and public records, human review, and a data sharing cooperative fed by customers who connect their Google or Microsoft mailboxes. RocketReach relies on legitimate interests for the people it profiles, offers a removal form and a Do Not Sell tool, and is registered as a data broker in Texas. It runs on AWS and holds SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification.

The core of the product is a searchable contact database with email prediction and verification run at the moment of each lookup, and it works the same with every AI feature switched off. Models appear around the edges: an AI writer personalizes emails in Messages, Autopilot runs saved searches on a schedule, and verification combines automated checks with user contributions and human review. An MCP server lets ChatGPT, Claude and other assistants search and enrich contacts in conversation, spending the account's normal credits.
Autopilot is the one surface that acts on its own schedule. A saved search refreshes daily, weekly or monthly, pulls in new matching contacts and can enroll them in a sequence of follow up emails and tasks, sold as a set it and forget it workflow. Active jobs are limited to 5, 10 or 25 by plan, and sending stops at 500 emails a day. Whether new contacts enter a sequence without review, and how a running job is paused or rolled back, are not described.
Outside AI model providers support some features, without being named and without saying which features they serve. The AI writer, Autopilot list building and the verification pipeline are described by what they deliver rather than by model or method. Emails are ranked by confidence, but the scoring logic behind that ranking is not explained. Messages drafted with the AI writer go out through a connected mailbox under the sender's name, with nothing marking them as machine written.
Accuracy claims carry the outcome story: up to 98 percent accuracy for emails in the top confidence tier, 90 to 98 percent deliverability on healthcare contacts, and 500 million emails and phone numbers verified each quarter. Customer evidence comes as short testimonials, such as Ridgeway Partners reaching senior candidates more than 90 percent of the time. Sample sizes, periods and the definition of accuracy behind these figures are not given, and usage scale (30 million users, 95 percent of the S&P 500) stands in for measured results.
Customers must follow spam, privacy and data protection law, use contacts only for purposes tied to a person's profession, and check each record against RocketReach's opt out list before relying on it. The product helps at the data layer, since people who opt out are removed from the database, and Ultimate adds suppression lists. Messages and sequences send email and the database sells mobile numbers, yet unsubscribe handling under CAN SPAM, TCPA consent for calls and texts, and do not call scrubbing go unaddressed.
RocketReach acts as controller for the profiles in its database and relies on its own and its customers' legitimate interests for people it has no contract with. Anyone can remove a profile or opt out of sale and targeted advertising, Global Privacy Control is honored, and VeraSafe serves as EU and UK representative. International transfers rely on EU and UK approved contractual clauses. During 2025 the company received 3,367 opt out or deletion requests from California and 20,321 from unknown locations. A signable DPA and a subprocessor list are not public.
Records come from several named classes: licensed datasets, data brokers and people directories, publicly available pages such as social media profiles, company websites and public records, human verification, and a data sharing cooperative. That cooperative is fed by customers who connect a Google or Microsoft mailbox and share address books, email headers and signature blocks. Some fields are derived rather than collected, such as work emails built from a company's address pattern. Supplying brokers go unnamed, accuracy is disclaimed in the terms, and customers indemnify RocketReach rather than the reverse.
The Chrome and Edge extensions return emails and phone numbers while a user browses, the database draws on social media profiles, and lookups accept a LinkedIn profile URL. RocketReach takes no position on how that collection sits with the terms of the networks involved. The rest of the method is conventional: official connectors into Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft and Bullhorn, and Google API use held to Google's Limited Use rules. Nothing in the product automates actions on a social platform or rotates accounts.
Customer data sits in AWS with encryption in transit and at rest, and personal data is kept as long as its purposes require, then deleted beyond recovery. The training question is left open. Outside AI model providers process data for some features, and whether customer searches, contact lists or drafted emails train RocketReach's or its providers' models is not addressed. Contacts found through an AI assistant are saved to My Contacts and tagged with the assistant's name, so MCP activity stays traceable inside the account.
People in the database can find and remove their own profile or use the Do Not Sell or Share tool, while notice to a person when a profile is added is not described. On the outreach side, the AI writer personalizes emails that go out under the sender's name, and Autopilot can send follow ups on a schedule. Neither surface marks messages as machine written, and RocketReach takes no position on the disclosure duties in Article 50 of the EU AI Act.
Pro and Ultimate connect to Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Bullhorn and Zapier. HubSpot data maps to chosen properties, Salesloft takes leads through Quick Sync, and Ultimate adds Salesforce custom field mapping. A REST API covers people, companies, email finding, phone finding and NPI lookups with batch enrichment on every paid plan, and custom API packages start at $6,000. The MCP server works through an official ChatGPT plugin, a Claude connector and any other MCP client. Sync direction and conflict handling with the CRMs are not described.
The platform runs in Amazon Web Services inside a virtual private cloud, with backups spread across several data centers against a 12 hour recovery point and a 24 hour recovery time. RocketReach operates from Washington state and moves personal data to the United States and other jurisdictions through its service providers. Customers have no choice of hosting region, and the AWS regions in use are not named. A public status page reports historical uptime.
RocketReach holds SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification, encrypts data in transit with TLS 1.2 or higher and at rest with AES 256 GCM, follows CIS and OWASP practices in development, and has outside firms run internal and external penetration tests at least once a year. SAML single sign on with optional multifactor authentication comes with Ultimate and custom plans. Reports sit behind a trust center, and the SOC 2 type, the audit period and the terms for obtaining the reports are not given.
List prices vary from visitor to visitor, so a buyer budgets from the set shown to them rather than from one fixed price list. The plans and their allowances stay constant. In one set shown to buyers, annual plans cost $399 for Essentials (unlimited email lookups, 1,200 exports), $899 for Pro + Phone (phone numbers added, 3,600 exports) and $1,699 for Ultimate + Phone (20,000 exports, intent and healthcare data). Unlimited lookups stop at a fair use ceiling of 10,000 a month.
Monthly billing in that set costs $69, $119 and $209 for 100, 250 and 1,000 lookups, with extra lookups at $0.25 on Essentials and $0.45 above it. API lookups, bulk lookups, CSV downloads and CRM pushes all spend exports. Team and custom plans are quoted.
Contacts leave by CSV download or by a push to a connected CRM, and every export draws on the plan's export allowance. Once the agreement ends, the terms require a customer to stop all use of RocketReach data, and unused lookups expire with the subscription term. Deletion requests go to the privacy team without a stated timeline. Renewal and notice terms sit in a subscription agreement accepted at purchase rather than in the public terms of service.
Every lookup predicts the email and checks live that the domain accepts mail and the mailbox exists, and a separate verification tool tests lists before a send, which keeps bounces down. Messages caps sending at 500 emails a day on every plan and reports sent, clicked, replied and bounced counts for each campaign. Warmup, spam complaint monitoring and the response when a sending domain's reputation falls are not described.
Sales, marketing and recruiting teams are the main buyers, with a healthcare dataset of more than 6.3 million clinical and administrative contacts across 200 job titles, searchable by credential, specialty and NPI number, and a Bullhorn connector for staffing firms. Plans run from a single seat to custom team contracts, and the company counts 30 million users and 95 percent of the S&P 500. Named customers are few, among them Ridgeway Partners and Ecogen Recycling. Coverage by country and language is not broken out.
