Expandi vs HeyReach (2026)

Last VerifiedSeptember 27, 2026
Verdict

The decision is which way you go around LinkedIn's per account limits, because both products are built to send more than one account is allowed to, and they take opposite routes. HeyReach goes wide. It rotates a single campaign across many connected accounts, twenty five or fifty in its agency bundles, to reach more than a thousand leads a week. Expandi goes deep on one account per subscription and sells, on its own pricing card, an item it titles Campaign Types that Allow Bypassing Outreach Limits, directly beneath a heading promising account safety. Both grade D on platform terms in the GTM Tech Index, and both put that risk on the buyer in writing. Where they separate is the paperwork. HeyReach publishes the most complete processing instrument in the lane, naming its hosting, enrichment and two model providers, OpenAI and Anthropic, with ten days notice before the list changes, and a security annex that states candidly which certifications it does not hold. Expandi takes custody of your LinkedIn login, password and verification code and publishes one paragraph on how it protects them, which grades it D on security.

Select Expandi if
  • You want one account per person and no pool. Expandi's terms restrict each subscription to one personal LinkedIn account and forbid connecting anything else, so it neither sells profile rotation nor puts a colleague's name on a message that colleague did not send, where HeyReach is built on rotating a campaign across many accounts.
  • You want pacing controls on the account you have. Expandi starts new accounts in a warm up phase with an adjustable rate of growth, sets limit ranges per action across connections, messages, LinkedIn mail and event invitations, runs active hours and inactive days, and states the software will not let the operator exceed a set limit, where HeyReach publishes no per account pacing at all.
  • You recruit as well as sell. Expandi names recruiters as a segment with a page of their own beside sales teams and agencies, and its privacy notice instructs that connecting another person's LinkedIn account requires that person's consent or another lawful basis.
Select HeyReach if
  • You run LinkedIn outreach for clients. HeyReach separates clients into workspaces with a master view across them, gives external client organizations a manager role, reassigns seats from a shared pool, white labels under your brand, and prices bundles of twenty five and fifty accounts in full across four billing cycles.
  • Your procurement team reads the processing agreement. HeyReach names every sub processor with its legal entity and registered address, gives ten days notice before the list changes with a right to terminate on objection, incorporates the standard contractual clauses with the United Kingdom addendum attached, and returns or deletes data within thirty days of termination.
  • You want to know which models see prospect replies. HeyReach's binding schedule names OpenAI for sentiment classification of lead replies and Anthropic for support triage, and its security annex states specific controls, including credentials encrypted at rest and staff access to a customer's data only after that customer authorizes it.

In Summary

The short version of each

Expandi

Expandi is a cloud based LinkedIn outreach platform from Eindhoven, built by founders who wanted to run outreach across many client accounts, and it executes sequences from its own servers with a dedicated country matched address per account, so campaigns keep running while the operator is away. Sequences mix connection requests, messages, profile visits and email steps, with image and video personalization through two separately paid partners. The GTM Tech Index grades it B on commercial transparency, publishing ninety nine dollars a month or seventy nine billed annually with a seven day trial, B on data privacy, with a signed processing agreement published as an open file and retention stated in months, and B on segment coverage, naming agencies, sales teams and recruiters. It grades D on platform terms, for a pricing card that sells campaign types built to bypass outreach limits, D on security, for holding customers' LinkedIn credentials behind a one paragraph control statement, and D on recipient disclosure.

HeyReach

HeyReach is an Estonia registered LinkedIn outreach platform built on connecting many LinkedIn accounts to one workspace and rotating a campaign's sending across them, with a shared inbox, client workspaces, white labeling, a documented interface, webhooks, an assistant connector and a command line client. It sends no email itself and hands leads to one of three separate sending platforms for multichannel steps. The GTM Tech Index grades it A on data privacy, the strongest processing instrument in its lane, naming each sub processor with its legal entity, including OpenAI for reply sentiment and Anthropic for support triage, and B on model transparency, ecosystem depth, exit, residency, segment coverage and commercial transparency. It takes C on security, publishing a specific control set alongside a candid statement that it holds no audit report or certification. It grades D on platform terms, because rotation across accounts is the product, D on deliverability, publishing no per account cap, and D on recipient disclosure.

Buyer Questions

Common questions

Is HeyReach better than Expandi?

On paperwork, yes. HeyReach grades A on data privacy and B on model transparency, exit, residency and ecosystem depth in the GTM Tech Index, against Expandi's three B grades. On account risk the answer is closer. Both grade D on platform terms, HeyReach because it rotates campaigns across many accounts and Expandi because it sells campaign types built to bypass outreach limits. Expandi grades D on security for holding LinkedIn credentials with little published control, and HeyReach grades D on deliverability for publishing no per account caps.

Is Expandi safe for my LinkedIn account?

The GTM Tech Index cannot call an account safe, only report what the vendor publishes. Expandi runs actions from its own servers with a warm up phase and configurable limits it says the operator cannot exceed, and the same pricing card sells campaign types titled as bypassing outreach limits. Its terms state it is not liable if an account is banned. To connect, a customer supplies a LinkedIn login, password and temporary code, and Expandi publishes one paragraph on how those are protected.

How much do HeyReach and Expandi cost?

Expandi publishes one account at ninety nine dollars a month or seventy nine billed annually, quotes ten seats and above, and prices image and video personalization through two partners at rates it does not state. HeyReach publishes one account at seventy nine dollars monthly, seventy one quarterly or sixty three annually, falling at ten accounts and above, bundles of twenty five accounts from seven hundred and ninety nine dollars and fifty from one thousand one hundred and nineteen, and a tier sold as unlimited whose own help article caps it at three hundred seats. Graded by GTM Tech Index against seventeen capability axes from each vendor's own published materials, verified September 27, 2026. No vendor pays for placement.

Does HeyReach rotate LinkedIn accounts?

Yes, and it is the core of the product. HeyReach connects many LinkedIn accounts to one workspace and rotates a campaign's sending across them automatically, marketed as reaching more than a thousand leads a week. Third party accounts report that its larger tiers require the customer to supply a residential address per connected account, which the vendor's own pages do not mention either way. Expandi restricts each subscription to one personal account. Graded by GTM Tech Index against seventeen capability axes from each vendor's own published materials, verified September 27, 2026. No vendor pays for placement.

How does the GTM Tech Index grade Expandi and HeyReach?

Both are graded on the same seventeen capability and compliance axes from public sources, at a documented depth of fourteen each. Expandi takes B on commercial transparency, data privacy and segment coverage, C on eleven axes and D on platform terms, security and recipient disclosure. HeyReach takes A on data privacy, B on six axes, C on seven and D on platform terms, deliverability and recipient disclosure. The index publishes no composite score and declares no winner.

Disclosure

The shared silence is the network's own rules. Neither vendor states a conformance position with LinkedIn's user agreement or describes how its platform interacts with the network. Both publish disclaimers instead. Expandi states its product is not authorized as an official feature of the network and that it is not liable for a banned account, and HeyReach states it is not responsible for any adverse action a third party platform takes, with the customer warranting that its use breaches no platform's terms.

The accounts at stake belong to the customer's own staff or clients. The second shared silence is the recipient. Nothing tells a prospect that a message was scheduled by software, Expandi's image personalization places the recipient's own details inside a picture it sells as a pattern interrupt, and at HeyReach the account a prospect sees may not belong to the person who replied. One contract term belongs here rather than in the verdict.

HeyReach's terms prohibit the customer from engaging in any unsolicited advertising or marketing using the service, which is the outreach the product is sold to run, and also bar customers from publicly sharing information about its performance. The benign reading is standard protective drafting. Ask both in writing what happens commercially when a connected account is restricted mid term.
