WaveDM

WaveDM is desktop software for Instagram prospecting. Agencies and founders supply a target list, prepare messages and run campaigns from Windows, macOS or Linux. Each Instagram account has its own list, templates, sending settings and analytics, which supports agencies managing outreach for several clients.

The workflow begins with usernames uploaded as CSV or pasted into the application. Name and username variables personalize the text. Reusable sequence templates include follow up delays, and a contact can be stopped manually. A prospect's reply pauses that person's sequence. Keyword based replies match a customer defined condition to a prepared answer; this feature does not use AI.

A campaign can include two follow up steps. The internal CRM tracks contacted prospects, timestamps, replies and sequence position. A unified inbox collects account conversations, and reporting covers sends, responses and reply rate. External prospect sourcing happens before list import rather than through a bundled business contact database.

The application controls an Instagram session on the customer's computer. Daily caps, randomized delays and a gradual warmup process shape sending volume. Proxies can be assigned per account. WaveDM promotes detection avoidance and acknowledges restriction risk, with platform compliance assigned to users in its terms.

The one account subscription costs $39 per month and has a seven day trial. The main and agency schedules offer five accounts for $119 and 50 for $699 monthly, although some solution pages show conflicting packages. Premium Telegram support, consultation and priority feature requests accompany plans with at least five accounts.

WaveDM runs prospecting through prepared sequences and keyword rules. Setup covers the opening message, up to two follow ups, the {name} and {username} variables and the delay before each step. Automatic replies match a chosen keyword to a fixed response with no AI involved. Removing a language model would change nothing in the workflow, because none is used. Each connected Instagram account keeps its own campaigns, lists, templates and performance tracking.

Autonomy and Oversight ModelAutonomy and Oversight ModelWhat the system does without a human. Draft for review, auto send, or fully agentic, and what contains a bad run.
BB on Autonomy and Oversight ModelThe human in the loop posture is described substantively (draft versus auto send, approval flows) but the failure containment story is incomplete.
Vendor Published

WaveDM campaigns start from a customer prepared list and a sequence of one opening message and up to two follow ups. The next step sends after the chosen delay unless the prospect replies, which pauses that person's sequence automatically. Individual contacts can be removed by hand at any time, although the handling of messages already queued during a stop is not explained. Each account runs on its own schedule and volume limits. Keyword rules send a preset answer without a person approving it, including while the user is offline.

AI Disclosure and Model TransparencyAI Disclosure and Model TransparencyWhat models power the product, whether AI generated outreach discloses itself, and whether scoring and routing logic is explainable.
CC on AI Disclosure and Model TransparencyThe product is described as AI powered with the stack, the disclosure behavior, and the scoring logic all unstated.
Vendor Published

Automatic replies use exact keyword conditions and text set by the customer, with no AI model behind them. Personalization is limited to two fields, {name} and {username}, filled from each recipient's profile at send time. There is no separate template library: a campaign's whole sequence can be saved during setup and reused later. No feature relies on a model, so there are no providers or versions to name. A keyword match triggers its response, leaving the customer in control of both the trigger and the wording.

Operational and Outcome EvidenceOperational and Outcome EvidenceMeasured outcomes with a stated basis: replies, meetings, pipeline, win rates. Logos are not evidence and prestige is not measurement.
CC on Operational and Outcome EvidenceOutcome claims are headline percentages with no stated basis, or customer logos standing in for results.
Vendor Published

Testimonials describe doubled response rates, months without account restrictions and more deals closed, but they identify users only by first name, initial and role, such as an agency owner or a SaaS founder, with no company or campaign size. Headline claims of four times the sales and ten times the reach carry no measurement basis, and the 4.9 out of 5 rating is WaveDM's own figure for active users. Campaign reporting tracks sends, replies and reply rate. The application also records who was contacted, when, and where each prospect sits in the follow up sequence.

Compliance and Risk
Outreach Compliance PostureOutreach Compliance PostureHow the product handles regulated outreach: consent, DNC scrubbing, opt out mechanics, caller ID conduct, and the public enforcement record.
CC on Outreach Compliance PostureCompliance is mentioned as the customer’s responsibility, with little or no product enforcement described. The tool can be run lawfully, and nothing about it helps.
Vendor Published

The terms prohibit illegal use, spam and abuse and make users responsible for complying with Instagram's rules. WaveDM offers pacing and sequence controls but no consent capture or suppression list beyond the sequence itself. Customers supply prospect usernames through a CSV file or a pasted list. A prospect's reply removes that person from the remaining follow ups, and sequences stop at two follow ups, a cap WaveDM presents as a guard against over messaging. Links are allowed in messages, although WaveDM warns that Instagram may flag accounts that send too many.

Data Privacy PostureData Privacy PostureGDPR and CCPA posture: lawful basis, data subject rights handling, DPA availability, subprocessor disclosure.
CC on Data Privacy PostureA standard privacy policy exists and answers none of the questions this product category specifically raises.
Vendor Published

The privacy policy, issued by Urise, Ineichen, a Swiss sole proprietorship, covers account details such as email and name, usage data such as IP address, device and browser, and automation data including Instagram connections, messages and workflows. It names categories of providers (hosting, database, analytics and payment) without a subprocessor roster or an international transfer mechanism. The Swiss data protection act applies, with GDPR where relevant. Access, correction and deletion requests go to a Gmail support address.

Data Licensing and ProvenanceData Licensing and ProvenanceWhere the data comes from and on what legal footing: licensed, contributed, public record, or scraped, and who stands behind the answer.
BB on Data Licensing and ProvenanceProvenance is substantively described but incompletely: sourcing classes named without the legal footing, or indemnification unstated.
Vendor Published

Prospect lists come from the customer. WaveDM's own lead generation workflow starts with identifying accounts by niche, account type, follower range or activity elsewhere, exporting them as CSV and importing the file, or pasting usernames directly. The application carries no scraper and no licensed business contact database. Rights to those source lists get no contractual treatment beyond the ban on unlawful use. Imported audiences feed individual account campaigns with name and username personalization, and the internal CRM tracks each contacted username from first message to reply.

Platform Terms ExposurePlatform Terms ExposureWhether the product operates inside the terms of the platforms it touches, and the restriction risk a buyer inherits when it does not.
DD on Platform Terms ExposureThe method visibly violates platform terms (headless automation of a prohibiting platform), or the vendor’s account restriction record is public and unacknowledged.
Vendor Published

WaveDM drives a local Instagram session and simulates natural behavior to avoid detection. Its help center advises proxies once more than three accounts share an IP address, citing ban risk, and recommends buying aged accounts from a third party Telegram bot for campaigns of five or more accounts. Neither practice amounts to platform permission, and the terms put compliance with Instagram's rules on the user. The desktop application can assign a separate proxy to each client account and apply independent sending limits.

AI Safety and Data StewardshipAI Safety and Data StewardshipThe cross client boundary: whether customer data trains models that serve competitors, plus retention and deletion posture.
CC on AI Safety and Data StewardshipSecurity language exists but the training question, the one this axis turns on, is unanswered: a buyer cannot tell whether their pipeline data improves a competitor’s instance.
Vendor Published

The automation engine runs on rules and prepared text, with no AI in auto replies or message writing. The privacy policy limits data use to running the service, processing payments, improving functionality and preventing abuse, and it does not address model training. Stored automation data includes messages and workflows as well as account connections. Subscribers can request access, correction or deletion through the support address. The terms exclude liability for any loss of data and offer no uptime guarantee.

Recipient Disclosure and AuthenticityRecipient Disclosure and AuthenticityHow the product presents itself to the people it targets: whether automated outreach and AI agents disclose themselves, whether sender personas are real, and whether personalization is grounded in verifiable fact. Measured as known compliance with Article 50 of the EU AI Act, in force since August 2, 2026, which requires AI systems that interact with individuals to disclose that fact.
DD on Recipient Disclosure and AuthenticityThe product ships fabricated human personas or undisclosed AI interaction by design, or its marketing celebrates evading detection, with no acknowledgment of the disclosure obligations in force.
Vendor Published

WaveDM markets human like sending patterns and randomized delays specifically to avoid detection. Messages appear under the connected Instagram identity, and keyword replies deliver customer written text, including while the user is offline. There is no default automation notice and no Article 50 position. Name and username variables personalize each sequence, and a reply stops subsequent follow ups for that person. The customer chooses the sender account and every line of response text.

Integration and Deployment
Ecosystem and Integration DepthEcosystem and Integration DepthDocumented depth of CRM and stack integration: objects, sync direction, API surface, marketplace presence that matches the claims.
CC on Ecosystem and Integration DepthIntegrations are listed as logos. Depth, direction, and limits are not documented anywhere a buyer can read.

An internal campaign CRM records contact status, timestamps, replies and sequence position across connected Instagram accounts, and a unified inbox gathers conversations from all of them. Lists enter through CSV upload or pasted usernames. No connector for an outside CRM such as HubSpot or Pipedrive, and no API, is part of the product. Agencies keep campaign lists, templates and analytics separate for each client account, with reporting by account and by campaign on sends, replies and reply rate.

Deployment Model and Data ResidencyDeployment Model and Data ResidencyWhere the product runs and where customer data lives, including residency options for EU buyers.
CC on Deployment Model and Data ResidencyCloud hosted is the whole public answer. Region and residency questions require a sales conversation.

WaveDM is desktop software, currently version 1.0.1, for Windows 10 and later, Apple Silicon and Intel Macs and Linux as an AppImage, with no mobile version. Its installers download from a GitHub release repository under the igdmapps organization, the same organization that distributes IGdm Pro. The application drives the Instagram session locally, but the privacy policy allows hosting, database and analytics providers, so local sending does not keep every record on the device. There is no regional storage commitment, and each sender can use its own proxy.

Security Certifications and Trust CenterSecurity Certifications and Trust CenterVerifiable security posture: enumerated current certifications and a trust center an outsider can actually read.
DD on Security Certifications and Trust CenterNo verifiable security posture published for a product that ingests commercial data at scale.
Vendor Published

The application handles Instagram logins and commercial conversations without any named security certification, audit program or trust center. Its account safety features address sending patterns and restriction risk rather than information security. Client campaigns keep separate lists and analytics within one license.

The privacy policy names abuse prevention and security among its processing purposes and allows sharing with the providers needed for hosting, databases, analytics and payments. Support and privacy requests run through a Gmail address rather than a company domain.

Commercial and Operational
Commercial TransparencyCommercial TransparencyWhether a buyer can budget without a sales call. Published pricing graded on completeness, not on the price itself.
BB on Commercial TransparencyPartial pricing published (entry tiers real, enterprise opaque) or pricing published with load bearing exclusions.

The main schedule charges by account count, with every feature on every plan: $39 for one account, $59 for two, $119 for five, $199 for ten, $399 for 25 and $699 for 50 per month. Other WaveDM pages still show different packages, such as $79 for two, $149 for five, $299 for ten, $499 for 15 and $699 for 20, so larger purchases have inconsistent economics. A seven day trial covers the one account plan with full features. Payments are nonrefundable unless stated otherwise, and cancellation keeps access to the end of the billing period.

Exit and Data PortabilityExit and Data PortabilityWhat happens when a customer leaves: completeness of data export, rights to enriched or licensed data after termination, deletion commitments, and auto renewal mechanics, graded from published terms and documentation.
DD on Exit and Data PortabilityNo published export path and no public terms on what survives termination, or terms that require purging delivered data on exit without saying so anywhere a buyer would look before signing.
Vendor Published

WaveDM imports prospect lists, but campaign history, CRM records and conversations have no export route in the application or its help material. The terms allow suspension at any time for violations and exclude liability for lost data, with no period to retrieve records afterward. Privacy rights include access and deletion requests to the support address. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time with no contract, access continues to the end of the paid period, and payments are generally nonrefundable.

Deliverability and Sending DisciplineDeliverability and Sending DisciplineThe operational craft of sending: warmup, rotation, volume governance, spam rate monitoring, and what happens when reputation degrades.
BB on Deliverability and Sending DisciplineReal deliverability features documented, with the operating discipline (limits, monitoring, intervention) asserted rather than specified.

Sending controls include daily caps, randomized delays and a warmup routine, with settings such as a 40 DM daily limit and a delay of 45 to 180 seconds between sends. Setup calls for two or three days logged in without sending, then roughly ten messages daily with a gradual increase, and every newly added account repeats that wait. This is operating guidance rather than a guarantee against restrictions. Sequences stop on reply and hold at most two follow ups, and each account keeps its own schedule and volume limits.

BB on Segment and Market CoverageSegment focus is clear and evidenced with a gap in geographic or language specifics.

Marketing agencies run client outreach with separate campaigns, prospect lists, proxies and analytics for each of up to 50 Instagram accounts on one license. WaveDM also targets SaaS founders, consultants, coaches, online store founders and sales teams, and it claims more than 500 agencies and founders as users. Plans of five or more accounts add personal consultation, premium Telegram support and priority feature requests. Customer references give first names and roles only. The software runs on Windows, Intel and Apple Silicon Macs and Linux.
