Last VerifiedOctober 13, 2026
Verdict

Choose Kaspr if your reps prospect from LinkedIn and want unlimited work emails at a flat seat price, and Lusha if the team needs a wider data platform with an API, signals and a full set of security certifications. Kaspr's Starter plan costs $49 a user a month on annual billing, or $65 monthly, with unlimited business emails under a fair use policy, 100 phone credits a month and up to 12,000 exports a year. Lusha sells credits instead: Starter at $37.45 a month billed yearly buys 4,800 credits a year for one seat, where an email costs 1 credit and a phone number 5, and Pro at $52.45 covers two seats with the API and webhooks. Lusha's trust center lists a SOC 2 report and ISO certifications up to ISO 42001 for AI management, while Kaspr runs no security page of its own. Both tell people they are in the data: Kaspr emails a notice with an opt out, and Lusha sends notices to European data subjects and runs a self serve privacy center.

In Summary

The short version of each

Kaspr

Kaspr is a Chrome extension that reveals work emails and phone numbers on LinkedIn profiles, searches, groups and events, with a web app for saving leads, bulk enrichment from CSV files or searches and export to HubSpot, Salesforce and other CRMs. Starter is $49 a user a month on annual billing or $65 monthly, with unlimited business emails, 100 phone credits a month, Sales Navigator support and 12,000 exports a year; Business at $79 or $99 adds Recruiter Lite, 200 phone and 200 direct email credits and API access. Free covers 15 emails and 5 phones a month. Cognism has owned Kaspr since April 2022, and the help center bars California residents from logging in. The GTM Tech Index grades Kaspr D on security certifications, because no security page or certification appears beyond a help center sentence and the statutory list in its processing agreement.

Buyer Questions

Common questions

Is Kaspr or Lusha cheaper for finding phone numbers?

Kaspr includes phone credits in the seat: 100 a month on Starter at $49 a user billed annually and 200 on Business at $79, alongside unlimited business emails. Lusha charges 5 credits per phone number, so Starter's 4,800 yearly credits at $449.10 reveal about 960 numbers a year, and Pro's 7,200 credits cover about 1,440 across two seats for $629.10. Lusha sells extra credits on a slider, and Kaspr sells add on credits for busier months. The GTM Tech Index grades both B on commercial transparency, Kaspr for flat seat rates and Lusha for its per action credit table.

Which is more secure, Kaspr or Lusha?

Lusha's trust center lists an audited SOC 2 report and ISO certifications for information security, cloud security, cloud privacy, privacy information management and AI management, plus a cloud security registry listing. Kaspr has no security page; its help center offers one sentence on protecting stored data, and its processing agreement lists the statutory security categories. The GTM Tech Index grades Lusha A and Kaspr D on security certifications and trust center.

How do Kaspr and Lusha handle GDPR for the people in their databases?

Kaspr's terms identify its Paris entity and the French regulator, and Kaspr publishes its processing agreement, works on an opt out basis and emails individuals to explain its processing and their rights. Lusha relies on legitimate interest, sends notices to European data subjects with a right to object, runs a self serve privacy center and is registered as a California data broker. The GTM Tech Index grades Lusha A and Kaspr B on data privacy posture, and both B on recipient disclosure.

Do Kaspr and Lusha connect to my CRM and AI tools?

Kaspr exports leads to HubSpot, Salesforce and other CRMs, dialers, sending tools and Zapier, with limited API access on Starter and fuller access on Business, granted on request under hourly and daily caps. Lusha connects to the major CRMs, adds the API and webhooks from Pro, and runs an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and other clients, with full two way CRM sync kept for its custom plan. The GTM Tech Index grades Lusha B and Kaspr C on ecosystem depth.

Will Kaspr or Lusha work for a sales team based in California?

Kaspr's help center says California residents cannot log in because of the state's privacy statute, although its pricing page marks every plan as aligned with that law. Lusha is registered as a data broker in California. The GTM Tech Index grades Lusha B and Kaspr C on segment and market coverage, with the California restriction weighing on Kaspr.

Disclosure

Cognism bought Kaspr in April 2022 and sells its own data on quoted contracts beside Kaspr's self serve plans. Lusha Systems is based in Boston and registered as a data broker in California. Both supply the work emails and phone numbers of people who never asked to be contacted, and both publish an opt out route for them. Kaspr's support pages say California residents cannot log in, even though every Kaspr plan on the pricing page claims alignment with California's privacy law.
