Highspot vs Pitcher (2026)
Highspot is the enterprise enablement suite for content, plays, training, coaching and meeting intelligence across a revenue team, and Pitcher is the field enablement platform for reps who sell in clinics, plants and stores with live data and no reliable connection. Highspot, now owned by Seismic and sold as Highspot by Seismic, packages its platform as Good, Better and Best, moving from governed content and sales plays to training and role play to meeting intelligence, coaching and Highspot Agents, with an MCP server, APIs and customer managed encryption keys among the add ons. Pitcher assembles approved content, account history, live inventory and pricing into a presentation for a specific customer, runs fully offline, and connects to life sciences CRM, resource planning and content systems, with an assistant for pitch decks, meeting preparation, next best actions and pre call roleplay. On price, Highspot shows its packages without figures and Pitcher has no pricing page at all. Both name SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001, Highspot adding ISO 27701 as a processor.
- One platform should govern content, run plays and sales rooms, train and certify reps and coach from recorded meetings.
- Integration teams want a documented API, an MCP server and data lake access for enablement analytics.
- Security reviewers want ISO 27701 privacy certification and customer managed encryption keys on the table.
- Field reps present in clinics, plants or stores where connectivity drops, so content and data must work offline.
- Presentations should pull live inventory, pricing and account history from resource planning and CRM systems at the point of the meeting.
- Pharmaceutical and medical device teams need the life sciences CRM and approved content systems connected natively.

The short version of each
Highspot
Highspot combines sales content management and governance, AI search and answers, sales plays, digital sales rooms, onboarding and certification, adaptive learning, role play, meeting intelligence and analytics, with Highspot Agents working from deal, meeting and performance context. It merged with Seismic in August 2026, sells as Highspot by Seismic from its own site, and both companies say both platforms stay supported. Good, Better and Best each add to the last, and add ons cover customer managed encryption keys, APIs, an MCP server, data lake access and 24/7 enterprise support. A developer portal documents endpoints for content, analytics, compliance scans, search and users, and the product serves financial services, manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences, technology and medical devices in five locales. The GTM Tech Index grades Highspot A on ecosystem and integration depth for that documented interface.

Pitcher
Pitcher is a sales enablement platform founded in 2011 for regulated and field heavy selling in pharmaceuticals, medical technology, manufacturing and wholesale, financial services, consumer goods and beverages. A rep opens a presentation already assembled from approved content, the account history, live inventory and pricing and the training that meeting needs, and the whole platform runs offline. Seventeen named integrations reach two major CRMs, a life sciences CRM, resource planning suites, content repositories, analytics warehouses, a quoting engine and a pharmaceutical decisioning tool. Its assistant builds pitch decks, prepares meetings, suggests next best actions, drafts follow ups and runs pre call roleplay with feedback, and a builder turns plain language into data connected apps. The GTM Tech Index grades Pitcher D on commercial transparency, because no price, plan or pricing page exists and every route leads to a demo.

Common questions
Is Highspot still sold on its own after the Seismic merger?
Yes. Highspot merged with Seismic on 18 August 2026, with Seismic as the combined company's name and Permira as controlling shareholder, and the product now carries the Highspot by Seismic name. It still sells from its own site with its own login, pricing page and packages, and both companies said both platforms would continue to be supported. Pitcher remains an independent company with a Swiss corporate form. Graded by GTM Tech Index against seventeen capability axes from each vendor's own published materials, verified October 13, 2026. No vendor pays for placement.
What do Highspot and Pitcher cost?
No figure appears for either. Highspot describes Good, Better and Best packages, each adding training and then coaching and agents to the one before, and lists add ons for advanced security, platform scale and enterprise support, all through sales. At Pitcher, the pricing address returns a page not found and every call to action leads to a demo. The GTM Tech Index puts Highspot at C on commercial transparency for that package description and Pitcher at D.
Which works offline for field sales teams?
Pitcher. Full offline operation is a named feature with its own page, so content, account records and presentations stay usable without a connection and sync when one returns, which suits reps in hospitals, factories and retail aisles. Highspot is built for connected use across web, CRM and collaboration tools, with digital sales rooms and engagement analytics that depend on buyers opening shared links. Pitcher's integrations to resource planning and pricing systems also bring live inventory into a meeting that Highspot's content library does not hold. Graded by GTM Tech Index against seventeen capability axes from each vendor's own published materials, verified October 13, 2026. No vendor pays for placement.
Do Highspot and Pitcher name the AI models behind their assistants?
Neither names a model, provider or version. Highspot's agents and Nexus engine are described by what they do, and its trust page says only that it uses third party models that meet its standards; its product security page states that customer data is never used to train third party models. Pitcher describes its assistant, roleplay module and app builder in detail without naming the technology underneath or saying whether customer content trains any model. The GTM Tech Index grades Highspot D and Pitcher C on AI disclosure and model transparency.
Do Highspot and Pitcher hold SOC 2 and ISO certifications?
Both say so. Highspot names SOC 2 Type 2 audits covering security and confidentiality, ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27701:2019 as a data processor, offers a security overview download and now links the Seismic Trust Center. Pitcher's security page names a SOC 2 Type 2 audit for security, availability and confidentiality and ISO/IEC 27001:2022, with AES 256 encryption, tamper evident audit logs and regular penetration testing. Neither shows an audit period or auditor, and each holds B on security certifications in the GTM Tech Index.

Both platforms track how buyers engage with shared content and coach reps from recorded activity, and neither publishes what a buyer is told about that tracking. The Highspot privacy policy states that it does not cover customers using its cloud products, and Pitcher publishes no subscription terms or data processing agreement, so the documents that govern customer data in either product come through sales.
