Agentforce Sales vs Regie.ai (2026)

Verdict

The decision is when you need it working. Independent 2026 reporting puts typical Agentforce implementation at five to eleven months and finds that fewer than ten percent of customers have the agent layer fully scaled, and the agent layer requires the underlying platform as a precondition, which the vendor states. Regie.ai's repositioned product signs up self serve against a work email, carries a free tier with no card, and asks the seller to confirm an ideal customer profile once before the agents begin running daily. That gap is the product rather than an implementation detail. Agentforce is a governed agent inside a system of record that already holds the company's pipeline, with engagement rules, guardrails that withhold rather than display, and an audit trail over agent actions. Regie.ai is one person getting a queue of prospects tomorrow morning, sent from their own mailbox. Nothing about the second scales to the first, and nothing about the first arrives this quarter.

Select Agentforce Sales if
  • The agent has to operate inside rules an administrator sets. Engagement rules govern when the agent may begin working a lead and how and when it may send, restricted leads are suppressed as a named control, a response violating a guardrail is withheld rather than shown, and approval can be required by risk or sensitivity.
  • Procurement is the real buyer. A long standing public trust site carries compliance documentation, real time service status and a product level security and architecture document naming the agent products explicitly, with sub processors documented and zero data retention agreements held with the third party model providers.
  • You will not accept a bundled prospect database. No contact data ships with the product, so the agent works your own records, provenance traces to systems you already own, and the lawful basis question is one you answered before the agent existed.
Select Regie.ai if
  • You need it running this week rather than next year. Sign up is self serve against a work email, a free tier carries two hundred and fifty credits with no card required, and the seller confirms an ideal customer profile once before the agents begin running daily.
  • The sending reputation has to stay with the seller. Email dispatches from their own connected Gmail or Outlook rather than a vendor provisioned domain, telephone numbers provision first party in one click, and professional network touches arrive as tasks the seller sends personally rather than as automated messages.
  • The budget is one person's. Forty nine dollars a month with five thousand credits refreshing, against a counterpart metered at roughly two dollars per conversation on top of per user licensing from around a hundred and twenty five dollars a month and a data platform dependency independently reported to run from tens of thousands into six figures.

The short version of each

Agentforce Sales

Agentforce Sales is Salesforce's sales product line, rebranded from Sales Cloud as the agentic layer became the headline, with a development agent that researches leads, drafts and sends outreach and books meetings on the underlying CRM, grounded in the customer's own records. The GTM Tech Index grades it C on operational and outcome evidence, recording that the most decision relevant evidence available points against the marketing: independent 2026 reporting puts typical implementation at five to eleven months and finds fewer than ten percent of customers have the agent layer fully scaled, and the vendor publishes nothing that answers what proportion of comparable deployments reached production. The index grades it A on autonomy and oversight for the most completely published autonomy boundary it holds, and C on deliverability discipline.

Regie.ai

Regie.ai is a five year old venture backed vendor that has repositioned from an enterprise sales engagement platform into an agentic workspace for individual sellers, where agents source prospects through a seven provider contact waterfall, monitor accounts for job changes and funding rounds, draft outreach trained on the seller's own sent mail, and dispatch from the seller's connected Gmail or Outlook. The GTM Tech Index grades it B on commercial transparency for a nearly complete self serve path, a free tier with two hundred and fifty credits and no card, a professional tier at forty nine dollars monthly, non rollover stated plainly and exhaustion behaviour stated, held off the top band because no credit schedule is published so five thousand credits remains an uninterpretable quantity.

Buyer Questions

Common questions

Is Agentforce Sales better than Regie.ai?

Only if your timeline is the same, and it is not. Independent 2026 reporting puts typical Agentforce implementation at five to eleven months and finds fewer than ten percent of customers have the agent layer fully scaled, and the agent layer requires the underlying Salesforce platform as a precondition. Regie.ai signs up self serve against a work email with a free tier and no card. These are not the same purchase: one is a governed agent inside the system of record holding your pipeline, the other is one seller getting a prospect queue tomorrow morning.

How long before either one is actually sending?

Months at Agentforce and minutes at Regie.ai. Independent reporting places typical Agentforce implementation between five and eleven months, and the vendor publishes nothing that answers what proportion of comparable deployments reached production or on what timeline. Regie.ai's repositioned product asks the seller to confirm an ideal customer profile once, after which agents run daily on schedules the user sets, with an email recap after each run and a hard stop when credits exhaust.

Which one gives more control over what the agents do?

Agentforce, and it is the most completely published autonomy boundary in the GTM Tech Index. Admin defined engagement rules set when the agent may begin working a lead and how and when its emails may send, behaviour is scoped by topics, actions and instructions rather than open ended prompting, a response violating a guardrail is withheld rather than shown, approval and escalation can be required by risk or sensitivity, and an audit trail captures agent actions for governance review. Regie.ai publishes a channel by channel split and an email recap, and carries a contradiction on its own page about whether agents send unattended.

Where do the contacts come from?

Neither one sells you a database, but only one is silent about where contacts come from. Agentforce bundles no prospect data at all; the agent works the customer's own records, so provenance traces to systems the buyer already owns. Regie.ai discloses the architecture with unusual candour, a contact waterfall seven providers deep billed only when a lookup returns data, which admits plainly that the vendor resells third party data rather than claiming a proprietary database, while naming none of the seven providers.

What security documentation does each publish?

Agentforce publishes the more complete set and gates the report; Regie.ai publishes a badge with a named monitor behind it. Agentforce runs a long standing public trust site with compliance documentation, real time service status and a product level security and architecture document naming the agent products, which the GTM Tech Index grades A. Regie.ai's footer claims a completed service organisation control type two audit and names the continuous monitoring vendor, which asserts live monitoring rather than a point in time report, and no trust centre, report access, subprocessor list or vulnerability disclosure route was located.

How does the GTM Tech Index grade Agentforce Sales and Regie.ai?

Both are graded on the same seventeen capability and compliance axes from public sources, and both sit at full documented depth. The GTM Tech Index grades Agentforce Sales A on autonomy and oversight, data privacy posture, AI safety and stewardship, ecosystem depth, security certifications and segment coverage, and C on AI centrality. Regie.ai takes A on AI centrality and B on autonomy, platform terms exposure, ecosystem depth, security certifications, commercial transparency, deliverability discipline and segment coverage. Regie.ai holds B on deliverability where Agentforce holds C. The index publishes no composite score and declares no winner.

Disclosure

Both products put an autonomous system on a domain the customer owns, and neither publishes a number that would let a buyer bound the risk. Agentforce's development agent researches accounts and sends sequences at machine speed, and nothing published describes warmup, volume governance, rotation, spam rate monitoring or what happens when reputation degrades under agent driven volume.

Cost modelling from implementation partners notes that a single development sequence can run thirty five or more actions, which is a useful proxy for send velocity and an unhelpful one for reputation. Regie.ai's position is structurally better and should be credited before it is qualified: mail leaves the seller's own connected mailbox rather than a vendor provisioned domain, every contact is verified before send, sending is throttled and unsubscribes are handled automatically, which the index records as the strongest repudiation of the secondary domain architecture in its corpus.

It publishes no throttle rate, no authentication guidance and no bounce or complaint threshold either. The history belongs on the record beside it: third party captures of the same vendor's pricing page from one week before this record was built show the prior enterprise product selling mailbox rotation at fifty or one hundred dollars per user monthly with domains and warming bundled, precisely the architecture today's marketing argues against, and the custom enterprise tier is where any surviving machinery would live.

Regie.ai also carries a contradiction inside a single page, since the page stating that agents send the day's emails on their own also states that nothing goes out under your name that you did not send, and no permission model or approval surface is documented that reconciles which sentence governs. Ask which one is true before switching the agents on, and ask both what happens to your domain when a run goes wrong.
