HubSpot released the HubSpot Sales Plugin for Claude, a free plugin that installs the HubSpot connector for Claude plus eight packaged sales skills: /daily-brief, /call-prep, /follow-up, /import, /log-call, /pipeline-pulse, /contact-lookup and a catch all /hubspot skill. Reps can prep for calls, log call notes, update deal stages, create follow up tasks, draft follow up emails saved as HubSpot drafts, and import contacts with field mapping and duplicate detection from inside Claude. HubSpot states that before Claude writes anything to the account it shows the proposed change and asks the user to confirm.

Why it matters: Sales teams that already work in Claude can read and write HubSpot pipeline data without switching tools, which widens where CRM updates originate. The stated confirm before write step matters for admins deciding whether to allow an outside AI client to change deal and contact records.

Impact: Medium. Verification: Verified. Type: Integration / interoperability.

Evidence: Vendor announcement

Source: GTM Tech Index change log.

Saleslumen published version 0.3.0 of its n8n verified community node (@saleslumen/n8n-nodes-saleslumen) on 24 Sep 2026, with 0.3.1 the same day. Compared with 0.2.0, the node adds campaign lifecycle commands (activate, pause, resume, archive, complete, delete), sender account and variable settings, and per campaign sending fields including daily delivery limit, daily new recipient limit, bounce auto pause threshold and an unsubscribe policy option, plus workflow publish, activate, deactivate, resume and cancel execution operations. It also adds OAuth2 access token and namespace authentication alongside the organization API key.

Why it matters: Teams running outbound from n8n can now run full campaign and workflow lifecycles, including sending limits and unsubscribe headers, without calling the REST API directly. The node's unsubscribe policy field defaults to None, so compliance settings must be set explicitly in each automation.

Impact: Medium. Verification: Partially Verified. Type: Integration / interoperability.

Evidence: Vendor documentation

Source: GTM Tech Index change log.

Membrain added Company and Contact discovery inside the CRM through Insight Engine: Find New Companies filters by industry, size and location, and Find Contacts filters by seniority, job title, keywords and location, with both searches matchable in one pass. Selected results are added as Company and Contact records or created directly as Prospects, with a link to the list of everything just added. Earlier, the enrichment dialog only found new contacts at a company already linked to a project.

Why it matters: Net new contact sourcing now happens inside Membrain and draws on Insight Engine credits, which can replace a separate prospect data tool for some teams. Buyers should confirm which provider supplies the records, since the enrichment guide names Membrain's own source, Apollo and ZoomInfo.

Impact: Medium. Verification: Verified. Pi is rolling out to a limited set of users first, with availability for all Planhat customers stated for the following month, and it can also be reached through Planhat's MCP server and API.

Why it matters: Revenue and customer success teams on Planhat get an agent that can draft replies, update records and run renewal or onboarding processes, with Planhat stating that Pi routes decisions for human approval under existing permissions. Buyers should confirm rollout timing for their tenant and which actions Pi may take without approval.

Impact: High. Verification: Partially Verified. Admins can enter instructions that help the AI model process duplicate checks, layered on top of the predelivered logic rather than as new rules. It applies to the account, contact, individual customer and lead duplicate checks.

Why it matters: Teams importing leads and contacts can tune how the AI flags duplicates to their own data conventions without building rule sets, which affects CRM data quality and routing.

Impact: Medium. Campaigns are also saved as drafts automatically from step 2 of setup, with a Save draft and exit button.

Why it matters: A tag pointing at a field that was never imported previously looked correct in preview and only went wrong in the recipient's inbox, so senders now get a real check on what goes out before launch.

Impact: Medium.

Salesmate published a help article for its Marketing Email Frequency Safeguard, set under Setup > Email & Delivery, which caps how many marketing emails one contact can receive over rolling daily, weekly, two week or monthly windows. Email Campaigns and nontransactional Smart Flow emails skip any recipient who has hit the cap and record the reason in campaign stats or the flow log, while transactional emails are not affected. The same feature was posted as 'Coming soon' in the community Planned Release category on 10 Jul 2026.

Why it matters: An account level cap on marketing sends gives marketing ops a platform control against over mailing, which feeds unsubscribe and spam complaint rates that Google and Yahoo bulk sender rules police. The logged skip reason makes the suppression auditable per recipient.

Impact: Medium. Verification: Partially Verified.

QuickProsp shipped four feature releases between 8 and 19 September. They add conditional sequence branches based on prospect responses, a separate tracking domain for each sending domain, warmup limits per mailbox with an API endpoint to set them, scheduled replies and wider automatic suppression. Version 1.26.0 on 19 September adds Microsoft permissions that let warmup mark messages as read and move them out of Junk.

Why it matters: Most of this is sending discipline: tracking aligned to each sender and warmup controlled mailbox by mailbox. The Microsoft change asks for broader mailbox permissions, and existing connections pick them up when reconnected, so admins should know what they are granting.

Impact: Medium.

Close removed the split between personal and group phone numbers and folded the former Premium Number features into every number at no extra charge. Each number now supports shared ringing, round robin, lead based routing, menus, voicemail and forwarding, with separate caller ID permissions for people outside the number's members and for voice agents. Earlier in the window, on 9 September, Auto Update began showing the values it withheld for low confidence, so a user can inspect and accept them.

Why it matters: A paid add on became standard, so telephony costs are worth a fresh look. The caller ID permission on each number decides which people and which AI agents may call out under a given identity. The Auto Update change is the quieter win: an empty field now reads as a decision a person can overrule and not as a failure.

Impact: High. Verification: Verified. Nova prepares briefs from CRM data, captures meetings through a visible notetaker or desktop audio, and drafts summaries and CRM updates. New read only Forecasts and Notetaker Recap APIs expose forecast submissions and history and processed call and meeting summaries for Sales Hub Professional and Enterprise. Reevo's documentation says supported languages can vary by workspace.

Why it matters: Local transcription across that many languages is the draw for multilingual sales teams.

Planhat shipped four Automation releases between 9 and 14 September. Workflow Mode creates a record for every Automation run, so teams can inspect sequence progress, email engagement and outcomes in dashboards. The others add permitted sending hours and days for email steps, an AI shared inbox template that triages inquiries and drafts replies, and an AI outreach template that matches underused features to customer objectives.

Why it matters: A record per run makes automated customer outreach auditable one account at a time, which is what a customer success leader needs before trusting it. Sending windows are the small control that keeps an automation from emailing a customer at three in the morning.

Impact: Medium. Verification: Partially Verified. Type: Product / capability.

Evidence: Vendor documentation

Source: GTM Tech Index change log.

Attio App SDK v1.1.0 lets developers build full app pages that open from the workspace sidebar and custom React tabs on selected record types. Apps can link between their own pages, records and settings, and new chart and layout components support embedded dashboards.

Why it matters: This moves Attio apps from widgets beside a record to real screens inside the CRM. A team building internal tooling can keep its operational views in Attio and tie them to customer records, which is the argument for a programmable CRM in the first place.

Impact: Medium.

With the /2026-09/ version of the HubSpot Pipelines API, which ships on 8 September, a delete request against a pipeline or pipeline stage that is still in use is blocked by default and returns a validation error, matching what the pipeline settings page in the HubSpot UI already does. Integrations that relied on deleting in use pipelines or stages will receive a 400 after moving to /2026-09/ unless they pass validateReferencesBeforeDelete=false, or validateDealStageUsagesBeforeDelete for deal pipelines, or stay on an earlier version. The change was announced ahead of time on the developer changelog and applies only from /2026-09/ onward; the current version and earlier ones are unchanged.

Why it matters: This is a breaking change and a sensible one: an integration that could silently delete a stage with live deals attached was a data loss path nobody asked for. The action for a sales operations owner is to ask each integration vendor whether it has moved to /2026-09/ and, if it deletes pipeline objects, whether it handles the new 400. The same version also carries HubSpot's earlier announced enforcement of admin configured validation rules on CRM write paths, so September is the month the API starts behaving like the UI.

Impact: Medium. Verification: Verified. Type: Product / capability.

Evidence: Vendor documentation

Source: GTM Tech Index change log.

Membrain added Product Revenue Graphs, which aggregate the product rows from Sales Projects, Quotes and Orders into a single visualization of revenue, products and commercial activity.

Why it matters: Useful mainly to teams whose quotes and orders originate in an ERP and sync in, because that is where the product level view usually fragments across two systems. For everyone else this is a reporting convenience rather than a change in what the platform can do.

Impact: Medium. Verification: Partially Verified.

Membrain shipped a built in AI Assistant and an MCP Connector. The connector lets external tools such as Claude and ChatGPT reach Membrain's sales data directly, so questions about stalled opportunities and account risk are answered against the CRM record rather than against whatever the rep pastes into a prompt.

Why it matters: The interesting half is the connector, not the assistant. A built in assistant is table stakes in this category now, whereas letting a buyer bring their own model to the data is a different posture, and it means the vendor is competing on the record it holds rather than on the chat window it wraps around it.

Impact: High. The release also adds app object support to association workflow actions, allowing automations to reference third party app data.

Why it matters: Sales operations teams can now merge duplicate contact or company records without accidentally dropping prospects from active automated outreach or internal routing workflows.

Pipedrive published a Model Context Protocol connector on Claude's official marketplace. The connector lets users query, create and update CRM data including deals, activities and contacts from the assistant using natural language.

Why it matters: Teams can work their CRM from inside an AI assistant without building against the API or paying for middleware. The release includes an Event Log API and webhooks, allowing teams to stream those events to external reporting or audit systems.

Why it matters: Sales operations and security teams get a full audit trail of CRM activity and a way to trace unexpected data changes back to their source, including changes made by integrations rather than people. Streaming the log out by webhook also makes the record independent of the vendor, which matters for buyers who need retention beyond the platform's own.

Impact: High. Verification: Verified.

QuickProsp released version 1.19.0, introducing AI driven campaigns that research prospects and draft personalized emails against a campaign specific offer. The update adds support for bringing your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini API keys, custom Message IDs for SMTP sending, an option to skip List Unsubscribe headers, and a bulk mailbox deletion API endpoint.

Why it matters: Bringing your own model key removes the markup on AI credits and puts the model choice in the buyer's hands. The List Unsubscribe toggle cuts the other way: one click unsubscribe headers are a bulk sender requirement at the major mailbox providers, so shipping an option to omit them is a control a compliance minded team will want switched on rather than off.

Impact: High.
