Qualified shipped three Piper Email releases: a Lead Gone Cold trigger that lets the AI SDR agent enroll a lead in a reengagement campaign after 3, 7, 14, 30 or 60 days with no activity, and a trigger that starts a campaign the moment a Qualified lead field changes, without a round trip through Salesforce. Campaign sending and AI handoffs can now rotate round robin across a pool of Qualified users or groups, with the sender locked for each lead's enrollment.

Why it matters: The agent can now start outreach on silence and on field changes by itself, so buyers should review which campaigns auto enroll leads and who receives handoffs before switching the triggers on.

Impact: Medium. Verification: Verified. Type: Product / capability.

Evidence: Vendor documentation

Source: GTM Tech Index change log.

Common Room added Natural Language Filtering, a public beta that turns a plain English description such as "CEOs who have visited the pricing page" into standard filter chips on Contacts, Organizations, Activity, Segments, score criteria and workflow triggers. Results always follow the visible chips, and any part of a request it cannot translate is skipped and listed in an explanation panel. It is included in all plans at no extra cost and is not yet available in Prospector.

Why it matters: Reps can build target lists and score or workflow criteria without waiting on RevOps, while every AI generated condition stays visible and removable, which matters because saved score and workflow criteria run automatically.

Impact: Medium. Verification: Partially Verified. Type: Product / capability.

Evidence: Vendor documentation

Source: GTM Tech Index change log.

Alta added GPT-6 Astra, Claude Fable 5.1, Claude Opus 5.5 and Gemini 3.8 Flash to its premium model list, selectable per step from a model picker under any prompt: email, LinkedIn, SMS and WhatsApp steps, AI conditions, AI enrichments, the call flow, the web assistant and Workflow AI actions. A campaign level Default AI model setting can also be applied to steps already built. Premium models are limited to Professional and Enterprise plans, and a premium model in AI enrichments uses more credits per row.

Why it matters: Buyers can see and choose which named third party model drafts each outbound touch, and the plan gating and higher enrichment credit cost decide which tier and budget a team needs to use them.

Impact: Medium. Verification: Verified. Type: Model / architecture.

Evidence: Vendor announcement

Source: GTM Tech Index change log.

Instantly released an AI Voice Agent in its September 22 Instantly Agents release that engages prospects by voice using ElevenLabs audio models. The changelog says it can call new inbound leads within seconds, qualify prospects and capture a preferred demo time; the help center adds that it runs either as a phone agent on a workspace number for inbound or outbound calls or as an embeddable website voice widget.

Why it matters: This takes an email first outreach platform into AI placed phone calls, so buyers who turn on outbound calling bring calling consent rules such as the TCPA into scope for their Instantly use.

Impact: High. Verification: Verified. Type: Product / capability.

Evidence: Vendor announcement

Source: GTM Tech Index change log.

Clay made its Plugin available to all customers, bundling its CLI and API for coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex. General availability adds programmatic control of Audiences, campaign creation and analytics in Sequencer, and table queries, on top of the enrichment and workflow functions from the beta. A day later Clay opened the Plugin and its other newer products to customers on legacy Starter, Explorer and Pro plans until 31 December 2026.

Why it matters: This turns Clay from a tool an operator clicks through into infrastructure a team can build on. Write access from a coding agent is the part to govern: decide which agents may create campaigns before one does. Legacy customers get a free look with a hard end, so budget for the plan change before building on it.

Impact: High. Verification: Verified.

Qualified made Piper Presentations generally available. The AI SDR selects and presents uploaded slides during live website conversations, in English voice and video, with editable talk tracks, controls over which decks are active and PDF follow ups by email. It is limited to the Premier, Enterprise and Ultimate plans. A day later Qualified introduced a guided migration that moves affected Qualified Mailboxes from SendGrid to Amazon SES.

Why it matters: An AI agent giving the first sales presentation is a real step beyond chat. The content controls matter most, because the agent only presents decks a team has approved. Enablement requires PiperX and work with a Qualified Success Architect. Customers affected by the mailbox migration should plan for a DNS administrator and about a week and a half.

Impact: High. Verification: Verified.

Rox introduced Artifacts, which generate decks, documents and reports from account data such as meeting transcripts and CRM records. Output downloads as PPTX or DOCX, a team can upload its own templates and have generated files restyled to them automatically, and agents can be added directly from the pre meeting briefings tab.

Why it matters: Rox logged auto prospecting last week and artifact generation this week, which is the shape of a platform widening from research into execution. The template upload is the practical part: a deck that lands in the house style is one a rep will send, while one that lands in the vendor's style gets rebuilt by hand and the time saving evaporates. Same caution as with Airspeed's decks a week ago: an artifact built from CRM data is easy to send without reading.

Impact: Medium. Verification: Verified.

Rox introduced auto prospecting, in which agents build and evaluate prospect lists against user defined buyer criteria. The system scores each contact for fit, gives its reasoning for the score, and can route approved prospects straight into outreach sequences without a human reviewing them first.

Why it matters: The published reasoning behind each score is the good part, because a fit score a rep cannot interrogate is a number they will learn to ignore. Routing into sequences without manual review is the part to configure carefully, since it moves the last human checkpoint from before the send to after it, and the sending domain carries whatever the agent gets wrong.

Impact: High. Users can upload a CSV, use saved company lists or draw on live integrations to build contact lists from tech stack data, ecommerce stores or lookalike audiences.

Why it matters: Teams can run account based prospecting inside Instantly rather than assembling lists in a separate enrichment tool first.

Reply.io moved its AI SDR API surface into public beta, taking 39 endpoints from documented to callable. The set covers the full AI SDR sequence lifecycle including autopilot enable, disable and force start, pending approvals with bulk send, Live Data searches, sequence preview and personalization, offer generation, the Strategist and Inbox AI drafts. Documentation was restructured into API Reference, MCP, Skills and CLI sections alongside a new command line client at v0.3.0.

Why it matters: Sales operations and developer teams can now drive Reply's AI SDR from their own systems rather than the dashboard, which matters most to agencies running many client workspaces and to teams embedding outbound inside an agent stack. Approval mode and pending approvals are exposed as API objects, so the human in the loop step is scriptable and can also be scripted away.

Impact: High. Verification: Partially Verified.

SalesCaptain introduced Actions and Marketing Flow, new capabilities that allow its AI agents to automate tasks across connected systems. The Actions feature enables AI agents to autonomously schedule appointments, update records, trigger APIs, fetch live data from custom knowledge bases, and send payment requests in real time.

Why it matters: Revenue and operations teams can use these features to move beyond conversational AI, letting agents execute workflows, update CRM records and trigger external APIs directly from customer interactions. Nothing is published about approval steps or human review before an agent writes to a connected system, so buyers should confirm what an agent is permitted to do unattended.

Impact: High.
